So, I got a new computer, and I tried importing my EWR files, and I'm running into some problems. I can't book an event or delete an email without running into runtime errors. Anybody have a solution, or know if it can even run on Vista properly?
Jed Shaffer ~If EWR and Vista aren't compatible, my EWR diary will unfortunately be coming to an end.

I found this little tid-bit on another forum, hope it helps:
right click EWR.exe (what you click to start the game), click properties. go to the compatibility tab. Under compatibility mode, click the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for:" then choose windows xp service pack 2. apply, ok. should work fine.
I also read that people had to try re-downloading the game a couple times before it would work.

Appreciated. I'll give this a try.
Edit: It worked. I had to not only run it compatibility mode, but run it as an admin as well for it to work. Stupid Vista.
Jed Shaffer ~It would be nice if computers could be sold with a Vista-or-XP option. Cause Vista blows choad.

I woulda posted a sort-of "what would've happened" had things gone tits up.
But we don't have to worry about that now, do we?
Jed Shaffer ~And I may even get more shows in now, due to some circumstances changing at home. Got me a laptop with wireless. ;D
