After playing around with EWR a bit, I figured I'd try to give this another shot. But before I delve right in with shows, I figured I'd take a page oyut of mlsq's book and give some backstory on my major feuds.
-------------------------------------
The Greatest?
With the defeat of Nigel McGuinness, Jerry Lynn would find himself as the company's top champion. Defending his title against several top names in the company, it seemed that Lynn would go on to have a lengthy title reign, much like his predecessor before him.
Until Austin Aries became involved.
Turning on the fans at Final Battle the previous year, Aries turned his back on the fans, claiming that "they turned on ME long ago". Aries would go on to proclaim himself "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived", revealing a brash side that ROH fans had never seen before. After engaging in a lengthly feud with Tyler Black that would end with Aries defeating him in a "Loser Leaves ROH" match, Aries set his sights on the ROH World Title, intent on becoming the company's only two-time ROH Champion. After defeating former tag team partner Roderick Strong to earn a title shot, Aries immediately cashed in his shot at Respect Is Earned, winning by accidental DQ when Aries ducked a wild right, letting the fist connect with the ref. Undeterred, Aries declared that Lynn was running scared, resorting to DQ losses to avoid the shame of losing the belt. Lynn would offer a rematch to Aries at Death Before Dishonor, declaring the match a Fight Without Honor. Aries has promised to make history by becoming the only two-time ROH Champion in history, while Lynn is looking to deter Aries from his goal.

Purely Wrestling
With the influx of talent in ROH, management decided that one single's title wasn't enough. After careful deliberation, management decided to bring back the ROH Pure Title, and with it the rules that follow. A tournament was announced to determine who would become the new champion, drawing the ire of former ROH Champion Bryan Danielson. As the man who unified the ROH World and Pure Titles, Danielson confronted ROH Commissioner Rebecca Bayless, demanding to know why he wasn't immediately declared champion. Bayless responded that the decision was made by top brass in ROH, but agreed that Danielson should be champ and offered him a slot in the tournament. Danielson quickly tore through the competition en route to the tournament finals, dispatching of Eddie Edwards, recent signee Scott Lost, and Claudio Castagnoli in a close contest, making itto the final two.
On the other side of the torunament, Petey Williams made his surprise debut in ROH, quickly going through Rhett Titus, Delirious, and the man Danielson beat to unify the titles, Nigel McGuinness, also making it into the finals. Danielson brushed off Williams, constantly taunting and playing with him throughout the duration of the match. Petey wouldn't take this lying down, retaliating with a flurry of ofense that rocked the ROH Original. As Williams set to hit the Canadian Destroyer, Danielson back body dropped Williams before grabbing his arms, proceeding to kick Williams' head in and getting the victory. Danielson would state on an edition of the Newswire that it was obvious that he would become ROH Pure Champion before running down Williams, declaring that Williams was nothing more than an Orlando reject looking to make a quick buck. Williams took offense to this, proving himself against Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious, and Jimmy Jacobs before earning another shot at the Pure Title at Death Before Dishonor. Danielson has continued to downplay Williams and his accomplishments, while Williams is out to prove that he deserves to be here in ROH.

A Hostile Takeover
Bursting onto the scene after final battle, CZW veterans Justice Pain & The Messiah quickly made their presence in the tag team division known, Under the name "Murderdeathkill", Pain and Messiah dispatching of the Dark City Fight Club and The American Wolves in short order. The duo of Kevin Steen & El Generico looked to have Muderdeathkill on the ropes, but a Godsmack through a table would solidify MDK's position as the top team while putting El Generico out for two months with an injury. Faced with little competition elsewhere, MDK have set their sights on the ROH Tag Team Titles. The only thing standing in their way of becoming champions themselves are the ROH Tag Team Champions, Jay & Mark Briscoe.
Since Day 1, Jay & Mark Briscoe have been in ROH. While Mark was too young to compete for a year or so, he still made his presence known to early ROH fans as Jay's cornerman, offering him moral support when needed. Though the two would end up fighting one another, the bonds of family proved too much to overcome, with their final one on one match being at the One Year Anniversary Show, Since then, The Briscoes have proven themselves multiple times over as the top team in ROH, outlasting team after team and amassing an umatched record of 7 title reigns, their recent run as a result of defeating The American Wolves in a brutal Ladder War at Respect Is Earned. With Jay & Mark once again proving they're the team to beat, the prospect of beating The Briscoes for the titles is particulrly appeasing to Justice Pain and The Messiah, who have vowed to make sure The Briscoes realize who the dominant tag team in ROH really is.

Crazy Is as Crazy Does
With the addition of Hallowicked to the ROH roster, fans were jubilant at the thought of Delirious and Hallowicked making a run for the tag titles. Known among the indies as "Incoherence" (or "Hallirious", in some companies), these two teamed for years, capturing tag team gold along the way. During the first few months, Delirious & Hallowicked made a strong case for becoming #1 Contenders, while Hallowicked made a name for himself in the singles division, going after ROH Television Champion Petey Williams on more than one occasion. At Final Battle, Incoherence was set to take on the Kings of Wrestling for the ROH Tag Team Titles.
Until former WWE Diva Ariel made her debut within the company.
Returning to her "extreme" roots, Ariel showed an even darker personality than before, claiming all the while that a soldier would reveal himself soon enough. Constantly making her presence known at ROH events, Ariel took a weird liking to Incoherence, either observing their matches from ringside or joining the commentary booth. Finally, Incoherence confronted the vampire vixen, demanding to know what she wanted. Ariel merely smiled before nodding, prompting Delirious to attack Hallowicked from behind. Delirious continued the assault, savagely attacking his former friend before taking him out of commision with three Panic Attacks. Delirious & Ariel would go onto become a threat, while Hallowicked vainly tried to get his former friend to come to his senses and dump Ariel.
Enter Jimmy Jacobs.
Neglecting his "Age of the Fall" persona and reverting to his "Do It For Her" days, Jacobs was approached by Hallowicked to see what Ariel did to Delirious. At first, Jacobs brushed him off, but after Hallowicked confronted him after a match against Matt Cross, Jacobs agreed to help, if only to "mend the broken fences" he caused during his last run. Jacobs began mentoring Hallowicked on all the tricks he knew, while Ariel & Delirious brushed the duo aside. After a match pitting Delirious vs. Jimmy Jacobs ended with Hallowicked interfering and attacking Delirious, Ariel demanded this match be made "so that Delirious can get rid of this albatross once and for all". Can Hallowicked save his former friend., or has Delirious truly crossed over to the darkside?
(There are more, but these are the feuds I'm really pushing at the moment. Barring INCIDENT!!, these should go off without a hitch.)
