So I signed four new workers to written deals: Brian Kendrick (Main Eventer, Heel), Jack Evans (Upper Midcarder, Face), Jimmy Jacobs (Upper Midcarder, Heel) and Paul London (Upper Midcarder, Face). I also signed Kaz (Main Eventer, Face), to an Open Contract. Three new workers: The Dudebusters (Trent Berretta and Caylen Croft, both Heel Openers) and Justin Angel (Lower Midcarder, Face). Three more new workers: (Upper Midcarder, Tweener) (Hint: This'll make it obvious as fuck but: You're gonna get you're fucking head kicked in~!), (Upper Midcarder, Heel) (Hint: Lariat~!) And (Upper Midcarder, Heel) (Hint: Warrior). They're all former BIG ROH names. Oh, yeah: The shows are gonna be written from a fan's PoV. ROH Television 5/10/09 Segment 1: Jim Cornette is makin' his way down to the ring to open the show. He announces a four-corners match between Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Tyler Black and Petey Williams for later tonight to decide a #1 Contender to Austin Aries' Title. He also announces a new championship: The ROH Television championship. The first champ will be crowned at this Sunday's Glory by Honor in an elimination four-corners match. There will be four qualifying four-corners matches tonight. Segment 2: Four-corners match for entry into the TV Title match Colt Cabana vs. Joey Ryan vs. D-Lo Brown vs. the returning JACK EVANS! A good match that Evans wins after a 630 Senton to D-Lo. ** ¾ Highlight: Jack Evans hitting a Suicide 450 Splash onto Ryan and D-Lo. Segment 3: Four-corners match for entry into the TV Title match Adam Pearce vs. Kenny King vs. Delirious vs. Brent Albright. A pretty good match. Pearce wins when he hits Delirious with Brass Knux whilst King and Albright are fighting on the outside. ** ½ Highlight: Delirious sorta humping the ring after he gets hit with the Knux. Segment 4: Four-corners match for entry into the TV Title match Eddie Kingston vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Necro Butcher vs. a returning NIGEL MCLARIAT-I mean GUINNESS! Unfortunately, McLariat's return isn't a happy one as he misses, what else, a Lariat on Kingston and turns around into a Backfist to the Future! ** ¾ Highlight: McLariat nailing Lariat's on everyone, including the ref, then going for the pin not realizing that the ref's out of it. Segment 5: Yet another Four-corners match for entry into the TV Title match Nick Jackson vs. El Generico vs. Kevin Steen vs. It's worth noting that Steenerico have a Tag Title shot at GBH. Everyone's waitin' for the final competitor... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN~! BRYAN FUCKING DANIELSON RETURNS TO ROH! Unlike McLariat, Danielson's return IS a happy one as he wins after forcing Nick to tap out to the Cattle Mutilation when Nick's brother Matt screws up on his interference, whacking Nick in the head with a chair. ** ¾ Highlight: Danielson returning! Main Event: Four-corners elimination match for #1 Contendership to the ROH World Title Chris Hero vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Petey Williams vs. Tyler Black First elimination: Claudio Castagnoli by Tyler Black via God's Last Gift Second Elimination: Chris Hero also by Tyler Black via Paroxysm Final Elimination: Black takes Williams down with a Super Kick and signals for God's Last Gift, when JIMMY JACOBS returns and whacks him in the face with his cane! Williams wakes up and, not realizing what happened, lifts Tyler up and nails the Canadian Destroyer for the win. *** Highlight: Tyler Black missing a Suicide Phoenix Splash onto Petey Williams. A solid show. ** ¾. Moment of The Night: Danielson’s return. Glory by Honor card:Petey Williams vs. Austin Aries© (For the ROH World Title) Jack Evans vs. Adam Pearce vs. Eddie Kingston vs. Bryan Danielson (For the ROH TV Title) Steenerico vs. American Wolves© (For the ROH Tag Titles) vs. vs. vs. (Special four-corners Showcase match) Claudio Castagnoli vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Colt Cabana (No. 1 Contenders Triangle match for the World Title) Plus an appearance by Jimmy Jacobs. INCIDENT~!: Sonjay Dutt publically admitted that he has an Alcohol problem, so I sent him to Rehab. WWE signed Kaz to a written deal. Oh you motherFUCKERS! Also of note, the tossers hired Chris Daniels as well…

Ring of Honor presents: Glory by Honor! 11/10/09 Dark Match: Four-corners match Roderick Strong vs. Delirious vs. KENTA vs. D-Lo Brown Good match. Strong pins KENTA after a Gibson Driver. ** ¾ It’s worth noting that there’s a new ring for the event. Segment 1: Tag Team match for the ROH Tag Team Titles Steenerico vs. American Wolves A damn good match that AmWolves win after a kick to the balls by Davey on Steen followed up by a Super Kick/German Suplex combo. After the match Davey and Eddie attack Generico and leaving him down next to Steen. *** Highlight: El Generico nailing a sweet Springboard 450 Splash before the match even began! [ROH World Tag Team Titles gained in image] Segment 2: Screams go throughout the arena followed by Walls Of Jericho’s The Haunted heralds the arrival of Jimmy Jacobs (Who I am a huge mark for, just Saiyan); he grabs a mic from ringside and says the following: “Tyler Black… Hehehe, y’know, people keep asking me why I attacked you, Tyler… Personally, I thought it was quite obvious, but it would seem that I have to spell it out… The Age Of The Fall… remember that little group Tyler? You, Necro Butcher, that bitch Lacey and I were the founding members… ” At this point Tyler Black’s music plays and he walks out, cutting off Jacobs “There a point to any of this shit, Jimmy?” He asks. “Yes, Tyler, there is a point… A couple of months ago… You proclaimed the Age Of The Fall to be dead… Hehehe… Tyler…?” “What?!” Asks Tyler, clearly irritated, “You were wrong…” Jimmy starts laughing maniacally as three figures wearing Ghostface masks jump Tyler from behind! They drag Tyler down to the ring and throw him in, where a still laughing Jacobs picks Tyler up and drags him into the corner, where he hits the Contra Code. One of the masked men, the biggest of them, picks Tyler up and nails a Running Sitout Powerbomb, before unmasking to reveal BRODIE LEE! One of the others picks Black up before throwing him into the corner and hitting a shiranui, then unmasking revealing himself to be BRIAN KENDRICK! The last masked man goes to the top rope and hits a double foot stomp before unmasking and… holy fuck… that’s fucking LOW-KI! Jimmy grabs the mic, still laughing. He stops just long enough to say “I told you didn’t I Tyler? The Age of The Fall is only… just… beginning…HahahahaHAHAHAHA!” The lights go out for about five minutes and when they come back on Jimmy and co. are nowhere to be seen and Tyler is hung from the rafters by his feet, his blood dripping down into the ring, in a scene eerily similar to the debut of the AoTF…. [Low-Ki debuted his new gimmick (Crazy) it got a positive response, Brian Kendrick debuted his new gimmick (Crazy) it got a negative response, Brodie Lee debuted his new gimmick (Crazy) it got a positive response, Tyler Black gained one point of overness from this segment] Segment 3: After pulling Tyler down our next match begins Showcase Elimination four-corners match The first participant is… PAUL LONDON! The second participant… JOEY MATTHEWS! Third and fourth are… Low-Ki and Brian Kendrick who walk to the ring together along with Brodie Lee to Jimmy Jacobs’ theme music. First elimination: Joey Matthews by Brian Kendrick after a Sliced Bread No. 2 Second elimination: Brian Kendrick by Paul London via roll up right after the pin on Matthews. Final elimination: After a great back and forth between Low-Ki and London Brodie Lee jumps into the ring and nails a Brodie Bomb on London. One Warriors Way later and Low-Ki has the victory. *** Highlight: Paul London hitting a springboard Shooting Star Press on Kendrick and Low-Ki as they were walking down the ramp. [Joey Matthews debuted his new gimmick (Cocky) it got a positive response] Segment 4: Austin Aries is backstage. He rips into Petey Williams, calling him an unworthy, pathetic challenger. [Austin Aries gained 1 point of overness from this segment] Segment 5: Four-corners match for the ROH TV championship Jack Evans vs. Eddie Kingston vs. Adam Pearce vs. Bryan Danielson A damn good match that Adam Pearce, surprisingly, won after a Brass Knux shot to Kingston followed up by a Piledriver. *** Highlight: Danielson locking Pearce in a Cattle Mutilation and Evans in a triangle choke at the same time. [The ROH TV Title gained in image] Segment 6: No. 1 Contenders Triangle match for ROH World Title Claudio Castagnoli vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Colt Cabana Good match between three great technical wrestlers. Cabana wins after a Colt .45 on Rave. ** ¾ Highlight: Cabana dominating both Castagnoli and Rave at the start of the match. Segment 7: Petey Williams is backstage, preparing for his upcoming Title match, when he’s jumped by Kenny King and Rhett Titus of Austin Aries’ Pretty Boy Pitbulls stable. [Kenny King gained 3 points of overness from this segment, Rhett Titus gained 3 points of overness from this segment.] Segment 8: Singles match Petey Williams vs. Austin Aries for the ROH World Heavyweight championship Aries comes to the ring with a huge grin on his face. That grin soon fades as Petey’s music plays and he limps out. Petey somehow manages to put up a good fight, even though he’s injured, but interference from Kenny King makes all the difference. One 450 Splash later and Aries is still champ. After the match new #1 Contender Colt Cabana runs out to save Petey. Colt and Petey watch King and Aries back up the ramp as the event ends. **** ¼ [The ROH World title has gained in image.] Good show. *** Highlight of The Night: Jimmy Jacobs promo/The Age of The Fall debut. Glory By Honor was attended by 2626 people! We made $78780 from ticket sales.

Good start so far. The new Age Of The Fall is an interesting mix of people.
Also, I love the 09 roster. Kingston, Ryan, Omega, Petey ... lots of good talent that aren't ROH-synonymous.
Jed Shaffer ~D-Lo Brown is the #2 heel?!? Did I miss that point in ROH history?

Jed Shaffer ~D-Lo Brown is the #2 heel?!? Did I miss that point in ROH history? I was worried someone'd have a fit about Low-Ki being in AoTF to be honest. The original line-up was gonna vbe: Jimmy Jacobs, Brodie Lee, Necro Butcher, Delirious and Joey Matthews but then I realised that Necro, Delirious and Joey all left the original AoTF, so... I pickked Kendrick cayse him and Jimmy in the same stable would be pure,100%, unadulterated awesome and Ki I had nothing else for. Yeah, I about wet myself whenI saw the roster. Ty Lovell aka thatponyguy. »You mean you missed D-Lo's 769 month World title reign?!

Not having a fit, but ... it's weird to think of Low Ki as, what, the #3 or #4 guy in the AOTF? Seems so bizarre. But it's not BAD. He can be the silent assassin.
Jed Shaffer ~I musta fallen into a time warp that day.

ROH Wrestling 12/10/09 Segment 1: Tag team match Age of The Fall vs. Up In Smoke The show opens with Low-Ki and Brian Kendrick (Followed to the ring by Brodie Lee) , who made their returns last night at Glory by Honor as members of Jimmy Jacobs’ new Age of The Fall, walking to the ring to Marilyn Manson’s This Is The New Shit. They announce that tonight, they’ll be making their in-ring return to ROH, taking on Cheech and Cloudy aka Up In Smoke. Ki and Kendrick, of course, squash Up In Smoke, picking up the win after a Kendrick from… well, Kendrick, on Cheech, followed up by a Warrior’s Way from Ki. ***… What? A jobber squash It may have been but it was a damn good one! Highlight: Cheech doing a Flair-flop after a kick from Low-Ki. Segment 2: After the match Tyler Black runs out to attack AoTF but is caught by Lee, who Brodie Bomb’s him onto the ground. Jimmy Jacobs then walks down to the ring, an evil smirk on his face. The lights go out for about five minutes and when they come back on, AoTF are nowhere to be seen and Black is in the same position he was at GBH, strung up from the rafters, bleeding bucket loads of blood. [Jimmy Jacobs gained 1 point of overness from this segment. Tyler Black gained 2 points of overness from this segment.] Segment 3: Four-corners rematch for the ROH TV Title, which the announcers… announce, will be defended on ROH Wrestling every week. Adam Pearce© vs. Jack Evans vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Eddie Kingston Just as good, if not better, than GBH’s match. Kingston gets the win and the Title when he ducks a Brass Knux shot from Pearce and nails a Backfist to the Future. *** Highlight: Jack Evans 630 Senton’ing Pearce only to stand and get caught by a Backfist to the Future by Eddie Kingston. [The ROH Television title has gained in image.] Segment 4: Tag team Title match American Wolves vs. Super Smash Brothers Super Smash Bro’s put up a surprisingly good fight but a kick below the belt from Eddie to Player Uno, followed by their Super Kick/German Suplex finisher nets a tainted win for AmWolves. After the match Steenerico rush the ring and beat the shit outta Davey and Eddie! ** ½ Highlight: Steenerico putting Davey Richards through a table post-match. Segment 5: Tag team match Petey Williams and vs. Kenny King and Rhett Titus Petey’s partner is revealed as his former Team Canada teammate BOBBY ROODE! Team Canada quickly pick apart King and Titus but get only a DQ win when Austin Aries attacks Petey! Colt Cabana runs out for the save and announces that he wants his ROH World Title match now! ** ½ Highlight: Petey and Bobby singing the Canadian National Anthem pre-match. Segment 6: Singles match for the ROH World Heavyweight championship Colt Cabana vs. Austin Aries A great match until Aries blatantly whacks Cabana with the ring bell. After the match Petey Williams attacks Aries and locks in the Sharpshooter as the show fades to black. *** [The ROH World title has gained in image.] I got ROH Wrestling to an Early Evening time-slot~! New signings: CIMA (Midcarder, Tweener), Kid Kash (Upper Midcarder, Heel), Jason Cross (Midcarder, Tweener), Mike Quackenbush (Midcarder, Face) and Ruckus (Midcarder, Face).

CIMA gets the win after a Schwein on Cage. After the match the Dudebusters attack CIMA and KENTA! ** ¾ Highlight: Cardona hitting a springboard Moonsault Press on CIMA. [CIMA is losing overness because of his weak gimmick. (Fuck, forgot to give him a gimmick)] Segment 2: Singles match Low-Ki vs. Tyler Black Great match, Ki wins when Jimmy Jacobs whacks Tyler with his cane and Ki hits the Warrior’s Way. Highlight: Tyler Black hitting a Phoenix Splash from the ring apron to the outside. **** [Tyler Black debuted his new gimmick(Man On A Mission), it got a negative response. (FUUUUUUCK) Segment 3: After the match Paul London, Necro Butcher and Mike Quackenbush (!) rush the ring and throw Ki out. London, Butcher and Quackenbush all hit their finishers on Jacobs, before Tyler Black grabs a chair and hits the God’s Last Gift onto the chair! After the beating Tyler grabs a mic and says: “Jimmy… you think you’re the only one with new friends? You have the Age of The Fall… I have the Age of Resistance.” Tyler picks Jimmy up and nails a Paroxysm onto the chair. And then the AoTF run out to save Jimmy, taking him to the back. Kendrick stays as he has a match with Paul London NEXT! [Mike Quackenbush debuted his new gimmick (Man On A Mission), it got a negative response (Fuck). ROH Wrestling 2/11/09 Segment 1: Jim Cornette announces a four-corners match as tonight’s main event. It’ll be between Bryan Danielson, Colt Cabana, Petey Williams and Nigel McGuinness. The winner will go on to face Austin Aries at the returning Survival of The Fittest event. Returning along with the event is the SoTF Tournament! The winner will get a shot at the ROH World Title at a time and place of their choosing, sorta like WWE’s MiTB. The first three (Of six) qualifying matches will take place tonight! Segment 2: Six man tag team match The Age of The Fall (Jimmy Jacobs, Low-Ki and Brian Kendrick) vs. The Age of Resistance (Tyler Black, Mike Quackenbush and Paul London) A good match that ends with a good ol’ fashioned six man tag clusterfuck, during which Tyler Black nearly kicks Low-Ki’s head off with a sweet Super Kick, Paul London takes both himself and Brian Kendrick out with a springboard SSP to the outside and Mike Quackenbush gets locked in the End Time by Jimmy Jacobs for the tap-out win! *** Highlight: London’s Springboard SSP. Segment 3: First SoTF qualifying match Jack Evans vs. Adam Pearce for the ROH TV Title A bit of a styles clash here but it results in a good match that Pearce wins via Side-lateral-Indian-Greco-Roman nut shot. [Adam Pearce gained 1 point of overness from this match. The ROH Television title has gained in image.] Segment 4: Second SoTF qualifying match Eddie Kingston vs. the debuting Kid Kash! Another styles clash that provides a good match. Kingston wins when Adam Pearce misses with a TV Title belt shot and whacks Kash! Eddie hits the Backfist to The Future on Pearce then covers Kash for the 1-2-3. After the match Kash is pissed~! He flogs the shit out of Pearce, finishing with a Dead Level brainbuster onto the TV Title. ** ¾ Highlight: Kash flipping out at Pearce post-match. [Kid Kash lost 1 point of overness from this match. Eddie Kingston gained 1 point of overness from this match.] Segment 5: Steenerico are in the ring and they challenge AmWolves to a Tag Title match at SoTF. AmWolves come out and say that they accept! …As long as Steenerico can beat a tag team of AmWolves’ choosing tonight. Steenerico say that it’s on! AmWolves introduce Steenerico’s opponents: Austin Aries and Roderick Strong! [Eddie Edwards gained 3 points of overness from this segment. El Generico gained 1 point of overness from this segment. Kevin Steen gained 3 points of overness from this segment. Davey Richards gained 2 points of overness from this segment. (Oh fuck the hell yes)] Segment 6: Tag team match Steenerico vs. the reunited (For one night only) Generation Next (Roderick Strong and Austin Aries) A fucking excellent match that sees Steenerico pick up a surprising win… via DQ when AmWolves rush the ring and beat the unholy fuck out of them. After the match Colt Cabana and Petey Williams hit the ring to save Steenerico. *** ¼ Highlight: Aries and Generico Super Kicking each other at the same time. [Roderick Strong gained 1 point of overness from this match. El Generico gained 1 point of overness from this match. Kevin Steen gained 1 point of overness from this match. (Steenerico make anything excellent, apparently)] Segment 7: Third SoTF qualifying Four-corners match The debuting Colin Delaney vs. The debuting Ruckus vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Joey Ryan A damn good match. Segment 8: Four-Corners #1 Contender’s match Colt Cabana vs. Petey Williams vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McLariat Williams wins via botched Aries-ference and then a Sharpshooter on McLariat for the submission, in what was a bloody good match. *** *** show. Segment 1: The Pretty Boy Pitbulls, Roderick Strong and The Backseat Boyz are in the ring to open the show. Austin Aries announces that The Pretty Boy Pitbulls are no more. On cue the Backseat Boyz and Roderick Strong attack Kenny King and Rhett Titus! Aries announces that they shall now be known as Generation Next Version 2.0. Aries proceeds to insult Matt Sydal, Jack Evans and Alex Shelley, claiming that “If the original GenNext could be as successful with second class wrestlers like Sydal, Evans and Shelley imagine how damn successful we’ll be with REAL talent. There’s me: The ROH World Heavyweight champion, The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived, Austin Aries, The soon-to-be ROH World Tag Team champions: Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere, The Backseat Boyz and of course my good friend, The Messiah Of The Backbreaker, the SoTF 2009 winner, a man called the MVP, no not the crappy WWE ‘Superstar’, of Ring of Honor: Roderick Strong! Together… We’ll be the most successful stable in the history of Professional Wrestling. Forget The Four Horseman, screw n.W.o and to hell with Evolution. Generation Next v2.0 is the greatest collection of wrestlers ever… And we will rule Ring of Honor.” (I have a bunch of stables… all with different goals… AoTF want to destroy ROH, AoR wanna save it and GenNext v2.0 wants rule it) [Kenny King gained 2 points of overness from this segment. Rhett Titus gained 2 points of overness from this segment. Kenny King's turn was completed, and he is now a face. Kenny King gained 4 points of overness from this turn. Rhett Titus's turn was completed, and he is now a face. Rhett Titus gained 1 point of overness from this turn. (Oh god yes)] Segment 2: Singles match Jack Evans vs. Jimmy Rave for the ROH TV Title Bit of a styles clash between the high-flying Evans and the tech wrestler Rave, but it’s a good match. Rave wins after Nana-ference and Ghanarea. ** ¾ Segment 3: Tag team match Kid Kash and Adam Pearce vs. CIMA and Eddie Kingston Oh now this is funny. Kash takes Pearce out before the match even starts! CIMA quickly goes up top and nails the Meteora and then Kingston picks Pearce up and hits the Backfist to The Future for the 1-2-3. After the match all three of them beat up Pearce and Kash leaves with CIMA and Kingston! *** [Kid Kash's turn was completed, and he is now a face. Kid Kash gained 2 points of overness from this turn.] Segment 4: Singles match Chris Hero vs. KENTA Fucking great match. Chris Hero wins after… Castagnoli-ference? The hell? *** ¾ Segment 5: More surprises as… Nigel McGuinness hits the ring? McGuinness hits a massive Lariat on KENTA, Chris Hero hits Cyclone Kill and Castagnoli hits a Ricola Bomb. Hero: “…Earlier on tonight, Austin Aries announced that GenNext v2.0 were the greatest collection of wrestlers in the world… He was wrong. We, The Princes of The Universe (Twenty points to anyone who can correctly guess what that’s from), are the greatest collection of wrestlers in the world. Nigel McGuinness, Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli… The three greatest technical wrestlers in the world (That’s a blatant lie, but they’re damn close) And together we will take our rightful place at the top of the ROH mountain when Claudio and I reform the most dominant tag team ever and Nigel becomes #1 contender to, then later wins, the ROH World Title. We… will… reign… supreme over Ring of Honor…” [KENTA gained 3 points of overness from this segment.] Segment 6: Paul London and Tyler Black are backstage when they’re jumped by Jimmy Jacobs and Brian Kendrick! London and Black get beaten down. Segment 7: Singles match Davey Richards vs. Kevin Steen An awesome match as, love ‘em or hate ‘em, Davey and Steen are fucking great wrestlers. Davey wins via Edwards-ference and a DR Driver. El Generico runs out to save his partner post-match. **** Main Event: #1 contender’s elimination four-corners match Petey Williams vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Nigel McGuinness vs. Tyler Black First elimination: Castagnoli by Black after a dodged Lariat from McLariat hits Castagnoli Second elimination: Black by McGuinness as unfortunately, the second Lariat doesn’t miss Final elimination: McGuinness by Williams via submission to the Sharpshooter. After the match Austin Aries appears and whacks Petey with a chair. He then announces that this’ll be Petey’s last chance, because if Petey loses he is fired from ROH! *** Wow... three Face turns in one night... We got a 0.47 rating for 'ROH Wrestling'! The attendance level was 511 people. We made $10220 from ticket sales. Shannon Moore wants to be promoted to Upper Midcarder: How about no, ya crazy Jobber bastard? (Twenty more points to anybody who can tell me what that’s inspired by)
