It is February of 2015, and Ring of Honor is at a crossroads. The promotion is arguably the hottest its ever been. In addition to a thriving working relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling, ROH is coming off a year which saw their first two live Pay Per Views ever. This has the hottest independent wrestlers in the world vying for a spot in ROH. ROH has signed some of the top wrestlers from New Japan to work for ROH as well! They are: "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika OkadaAt just 27 years of age, "the Rainmaker" comes to ROH with a pedigree unmatched for anyone his age. The charismatic Okada is already a 2-time former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and a former G1 Climax winner (the top tournament in all of wrestling). Okada has previous experience both in America, and specifically in ROH, where he competed twice last year. Okada is looking to make it rain in ROH rings, and using his trademark Rainmaker lariat, he looks to figure prominently in the 2015 ROH World Championship picture. Shinsuke NakamuraThere are many words that can be used to describe Shinsuke Nakamura. Eccentric. Unusual. Different. Dynamic. Charismatic. Whatever words you choose, none seem to do justice when watching the self-proclaimed "King of Strong Style." The man whose fans refer to him as "Swagsuke" comes to ROH as one of the most decorated stars in NJPW history. He is a 3-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, a 4-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion, and an IWGP Tag Team Champion. Nakamura won the G1 Climax in 2011 and was one half of the winners of the 2006 G1 Tag League. Behind his unmatched mannerisms, his unorthadox style, and using his Boma Ye knee strike, Nakamura will be someone to keep a close eye on in 2015. Time SplittersKUSHIDA and Alex Shelley, the Time Splitters, are two-time former IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions, and are a welcome addition to the Ring of Honor tag team ranks. The Splitters have tons of experience with top teams in ROH, including the World Tag Team Champions reDRagon. KUSHIDA is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and one of the most popular competitors in NJPW. Alex Shelley has a history with ROH and American wrestling that cannot be summarized in a brief bio. What will 2015 bring for the Time Splitters? Only...time...will tell. ROH has also made some changes behind the scenes, starting from the basis of the future of ROH, the ROH Dojo. The Ring of Honor Dojo is proud to announce our new head trainer! "Pretty Boy" Larry SharpeLarry Sharpe is a legend both in the ring and as a trainer. As a wrestler, Sharpe wrestled all over the world, and is known for being a great technician. But Sharpe is more famous (or infamous) as the man behind the legendary Monster Factory wrestling school. Since opening in 1983, the Factory has put out some of the most well-known wrestlers of the past 32 years, including Bam Bam Bigelow, the Big Show, Chris Candido, Raven, Sheamus, and Sonjay Dutt. And those are just a few of the names to call the Monster Factory home. But even Dr. Frankenstein had his assistant, and Sharpe's "Igor," if you weeeel, is Rick Bognar. Perhaps most well known as "Fake Razor Ramon," Bognar has been training aspiring wrestlers since 2001, and is looking forward to working with Larry Sharpe in developing the next generation of ROH stars. Results from ROH Wrestling TV (syndication) We start with the ROH logo, fading to the new intro video for ROH Wrestling. "Rebellion" by Linkin Park accompanies various clips of Ring of Honor's best, before cutting off and fading into the arena, where Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino welcome us for tonight's action. We go right to the ring for our first match.
Segment 1 Tag Team Match War Machine vs. Ethan Page & Josh AlexanderAt the bell, Page charges Hanson, and is met with a stiff clothesline. Hanson throws Page around for a bit, before tagging in Raymond Rowe, who tosses Page towards his corner and begs Alexander to tag in. Alexander does so reluctantly, and Rowe invites him into the center of the ring. They lock up, and Rowe whips Alexander into the ropes and levels him with a shoulder tackle. Rowe waits for Alexander to get to his knees and kicks the everloving shit out of him. Rowe tosses Alexander into the corner and tags Hanson back in. Hanson lands some clubbing forearms to the chest of Alexander. Hanson drags Alexander to the center of the ring, where Alexander escapes his grips. Alexander attempts to mount some offense, but Hanson cuts him off with a stiff clothesline, nearly decapitating Alexander. Hanson tags in Rowe, who hits a sequence of suplexes on Alexander, before tagging Hanson. As Hanson ascends to the top, Rowe places Alexander on his shoulder, and Hanson leaps off and legdrops Alexander as Rowe drops him to the mat. Hanson covers and earns War Machine the victory.WINNER: War Machine (Pinfall)Rating: 47%Segment 2 After commercial, we come back to a video hyping the debut of a new wrestler. Its knee strikes aplenty as highlights of the one and only, "King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura, hit the airwaves. At the conclusion of the video, the screen reads " COMING SOON" and the information for the Ring of Honor 13th Anniversary Show airs. Rating: 79% Segment 3 The Ring of Honor World Television Champion, Jay Lethal makes his way to the ring, with Truth Martini at his side, as always. Martini takes the microphone first, putting over Lethal's having been TV Champ for 10 months and how he has thwarted all comers. Martini then insults the booing crowd, saying they don't appreciate his genius and the flawless wrestling of Jay Lethal. He then hands the microphone to Lethal, who issues an open challenge to anyone in the back for next week. ACH comes out to a thunderous reaction, and says he wants a shot at Lethal. He says that 2015 will be the ascension of ACH in ROH and the journey begins next week. Rating: 67% Segment 4 Tag Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship reDRagon (c) vs. Brutal BurgersThe Champs waste no time going to work, using crisp tags and textbook offense to isolate Cheeseburger from "Brutal" Bob. Cheeseburger is able to counter a side headlock and make the hot tag, allowing Evans to hit a few offensive maneuvers, but he is cut off by a brutal clothesline from Bobby Fish. The Champs hit Chasing the Dragon and make quick work of Brutal Burgers.
WINNER: reDRagon (Pinfall) Rating: 57% Segment 5 A video plays in the theme of a movie trailer. The picture fades to a foggy scene with lights shining from behind the smoke. Two figures walk towards the screen. The picture fades back out, and the screen says "A WORLD RENOWNED TAG TEAM" and fades back to the two figures. They reach a car, and one goes to the passenger side and the other the driver side. The screen fades again, and says "MAKING THEIR ANTICIPATED RETURN." They reach down to open the doors and two suicide doors open up. The camera fades in quickly on the passenger, and a spotlight, and name key on the bottom of the screen, reveal it to be KUSHIDA. The camera switches to the driver, Alex Shelley. They get into the car, which is now obviously a DeLorean. The screen fades again, and the logo for the Time Splitters zooms onto the screen. It cuts back to the now running car, and Shelley puts down the window and says "where we're going, we don't need roads," and the car zooms off. "COMING SOON TO RING OF HONOR" fades onto the screen, and then fades out. Rating: 66% Segment 6 AJ Styles vs. Michael ElginStyles and Elgin go toe-to-toe in classic fashion. Styles maintains the advantage in the early going, until Elgin nails a vicious clothesline followed by an overhead belly-to-belly suplex into the corner. Elgin hits a buckle bomb for a nearfall, then hits a spinning powerbomb for another nearfall. Elgin is getting visibly frustrated at his inability to put Styles away, but gathers himself to hit another buckle bomb then spinning powerbomb, but Styles gets his shoulder up at the very last moment. Elgin grabs referee Paul Turner and says it was 3. Turner stands his ground and eats a right hand for his trouble. Elgin hits a third buckle bomb on AJ, then another spinning powerbomb, but ROH head of officials Todd Sinclair runs in and calls for the bell. Bobby Cruise announces that Elgin has been eliminated, and Elgin goes nuts. He buckle bombs Sinclair then powerbombs him as well. Other officials and wrestlers hit the ring to stop Elgin. Elgin leaves the ring and starts to destroy the ringside area before going to the back. Kevin Kelly is going nuts, wondering who in Ring of Honor can stop this nightmare. WINNER: AJ Styles (Disqualification) Rating: 71% OVERALL RATING: 65% TV RATING: 3.22 ATTENDANCE: 476

Results from ROH Television (Syndication) 2/14/15 The new ROH Wrestling intro video starts things off, and we go to a rabid crowd waiting for the night's festivities to begin. Kevin Kelly welcomes us, before throwing things to ring announcer Bobby Cruise. Cruise introduces Wes Grissom and Darin Waid, who are already in the ring, to little ovation. "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis plays, and KUSHIDA and Alex Shelley make their entrance, to the joy of the crowd. Segment 1 Time Splitters vs. Wes Grissom and Darin Waid The Time Splitters make short work of Grissom and Waid, as the match serves as more of an exhibition of what the Splitters have to offer. Lots of tags and high-impact offense from KUSHIDA and Shelley keep them in control, until they finish off Waid with the I-95 (Sitout Powerbomb/Sliced Bread #2 Combo) to get the win. As the Splitters celebrate, BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs hit the gint, dishing out a beating on the ROH newcomers. The Time Splitters are left in a heap, as Jacobs and Whitmer look satisified with their work and Whitmer sneers, "welcome back." Winner: The Time Splitters Rating: 54% Segment 2 A man is a finely tailored suit is walking down a dimly lit hall. He walks into a large ballroom-like space and looks around at the empty room. He takes a firm stance and raises his arms to the sky. Suddenly, money falls from the sky, tens of thousands of dollars. The room is alit and now full of the best-dressed elite. Beautiful women flock to the man, who brushes them aside. He walks across the room and the camera closes in on his bleached-blond head. A slight smirk comes across his face as he holds a handful of cash towards the camera. The screen goes black and simply says "the Rainmaker is coming – 2/22/15 (the date of the ROH 13th Anniversary Pay Per View). Rating: 70% A beast of a man stalks to the ring, clad in a one-shoulder singlet and war paint. He gets in the ring and stomps around, shooting menacing glares to the audience. Bobby Cruise introduces him simply as "Kongo." Suddenly, "Gimme Back My Bullets" blares through the arena and the crowd comes alive for the entrance of the reigning ROH World Champion. Segment 3 Non-Title Match Jay Briscoe (c) vs. Kongo Kongo attacks Briscoe before the bell, surprising him with a clothesline while his back is turned. Kongo hits some basic offense and whips Briscoe in for a clothesline. Briscoe ducks and goes behind Kongo, elevating him with a half-nelson suplex. Briscoe hits the big boot and then the Jay Driller, making quick work of Kongo. While Briscoe celebrates, his music stops, and Michael Elgin's music hits, marking the arrival of the man now coined by Kevin Kelly as the "Unbreakable Nightmare." Briscoe stares down Elgin, but leaves the ring as Elgin grabs the microphone. WINNER: Jay Briscoe Rating: 52% Segment 4 Elgin paces around the ring with the microphone in hand. He says he has shown a lack of judgement as of late, and last week cost him, as he was fined and nearly suspended. He had AJ Styles beat last week, and his temper got the best of him. He beat up two referees and destroyed thousands of dollars of equipment. He says he doesn't care about suspensions, fines, or the welfare of the employees of this company. Costing the company money isn't his concern. All he cares about is one thing, and that is being the Ring of Honor champion. Again he says he had Styles beat, and that should be enough for him to be the number one contender in the eyesof the match makers. But he's skipping the match makers. He looks at the aisle, where Jay Briscoe is still standing. "Briscoe, you can throw around some jabroni who's here for a few bucks, but what can you do against someone who is truly Unbreakable? Why don't we find out at the 13th Anniversary Show? Why don't you put that title on the line?" Briscoe holds the belt up in the air, and simply shakes his head yes. Rating: 63% Segment 5 We go backstage where Mandy Leon is standing by with Truth Martini and Jay Lethal. Leon asks for final thoughts before the huge Main Event. Martini says its just another day at the office for the champ. ACH will be another name added to the list of the defeated. Lethal says that the champagne is on ice back in the hotel and gives Leon a key, telling her to slip into something pretty and they'll meet her there. Martini cackles as they walk off. Leon looks disgusted and drops the key on the ground. Rating: 68% Segment 6 World Television Championship Jay Lethal (c) (with Truth Martini) vs. ACH
ACH and Lethal have an epic exhcange to being the match. They are both students of the game, as Kelly says, and they prove it, having counters for each other's counters. Lethal takes the advantage and wears down ACH. Martini marches around confidently, laughing and jawing, holding up the Book of Truth. ACH fights back, and hits a huge dive onto Lethal. Back in the ring, ACH misses a elbow in the corner. Lethal distracts Todd Sinclair, and Martini goes to nail ACH with the Book. ACH ducks and hits a leaping enziguri to Martini, flooring him. Lethal goes for the Lethal Combination, but ACH blocks it and hits an enziguri to Lethal. ACH nails the second rope 450 splash and gets the three count, enciting the ROH fans into a frenzy. ACH grabs the TV Title and leaps over the barricade, and celebrates with the fans as Kevin Kelly puts him over and the show goes off the air. WINNER and NEW Champion: ACH Rating: 71% OVERALL RATING: 64% TV RATING: 3.25 ATTENDANCE: 469

Go Go ACH.
"Unbreakable Nightmare", huh? I'm not sure if I like that or not yet, haha. Either way, Elgin/Jay is a logical match to set up of the Anniversary Show. Makes me wonder what lengths Elgin will go to beat Jay's undefeated streak.

ROH Rumor Mill 2/15/15
- A simple nod of the head says a lot. In this case, it was the confirmation of our main event in 1 week. Ring of Honor's next Pay Per View, the 13th Anniversary Show, will feature the main event for the ROH World Championship when Jay Briscoe defends agains the man who challenged him last week, Unbreakable Michael Elgin. We saw how distraught Elgin was when he couldn't put away AJ Styles and his explosive reaction when he was disqualified. What will Elgin do to Brisocoe to become a 2-time World Champion?
The ROH World Television Championship changed hands this past week when ACH defeated Jay Lethal for the title! But the celebration is short lived, as ACH will go right to defending the title this Saturday night on ROH TV when he faces TaDarius Thomas. Can ACH indeed "Go Go," or will TDT make it a short-lived reign? Plus, we know the former champ Lethal, and his mouthpiece Truth Martini, will be in the house. Martini is never short on words and he and Lethal have demanded TV time this Saturday. What will the leader of the House of Truth have to say?
In tag team news, the ROH matchmakers have been impressed by War Machine, the team of Hanson and Raymond Rowe. So impressed, in fact, that they have been named the #1 Contenders to the ROH World Tag Team Titles and will get a title shot at the 13th Anniversary Show!
But who will defend the titles against War Machine at the Pay Per View? That question will be answered just one night earlier, when reDRagon defend the titles against Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander! Tune in this Saturday on your local station to see the World Tag Team Championship match!
Continuing tag team news,Time Splitters, Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA, made their return/full time debut last week on ROH TV, only to be attacked after their match by BJ Whitmer and Jimmy Jacobs, the Decade. ROH matchmakers have decided that at the 13th Anniversary Show, Time Splitters and the Decade will face off!
The past two weeks of ROH TV have seen a few interesting vignettes air. The first of which hyping the debut of the incomprable Shinsuke Nakamura, and this past week fans were teased with the presence of the one and only Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada. We can now announce that at the 13th Anniversary Show, both Nakamura and Okada will have their first matches in an ROH ring since last year! Okada will face off with Tomasso Ciampa, while Nakamura will square off against Roderick Strong! Tune in Sunday, live on Pay Per View, for these fine matches!
We will have a Four Corner Showdown at the 13th Anniversary Show that will no doubt have big implications on the future of ROH. The ROH Matchmakers have their eyes on four individuals who will get to showcase their talents to the world this Sunday. Only one man can score a pinfall and get the win, however, when Adam Cole, Mark Briscoe, Cliff Compton and Rhett Titus go to war! Possible future title shots could be decided in this one!
Rumors of a proposed rankings system are making the rounds at ROH HQ. What will this entail? We should have more on this in the coming weeks.

Results from ROH Television2/21/15 Segment 1
"The Last Real Man" in professional wrestling, Silas Young, is in the ring with a microphone in hand. He says he is a throwback to a time when men were men. He isn't going to sit on his smartphone and Twitter about what he does. He's going to do what a real man does, and show it in the ring. Everyone will see who is the last real man in pro wrestling. Rating: 54% Segment 2 Silas Young vs. Andrew Everett Young makes quick work of Everett, making sure to jaw with the audience after every successful manouver. Young finishes Everett off with the Killer Combo (backbreaker/lariat combo) to get the 3-count. After the match, Young goes for a handshake to the defeated Everett, then pulls him in and hits a second vicious lariat before leaving the ring in disgust. WINNER: Silas Young (Pinfall) Rating: 57% Segment 3 Roderick Strong vs. Michael Bennett (w/ Maria Kanellis) During the entrances, Kevin Kelly announces that at the 13th Anniversary Show, Roderick Strong will compete against Shinsuke Nakamura in his ROH Pay Per View debut. Bennett uses heel tactics to keep the advantage, but Strong is able to escape Bennett's attepmted Anaconda Vice and reverse into the Strong Hold, forcing Bennett to tap. Kelly puts Strong over on commentary, saying Strong vs. Nakamura will be a classic. WINNER: Roderick Strong (Submission) Rating: 64% Segment 4 World Television Championship ACH (c) vs. TaDarius Thomas ACH enters to a strong reaction. He uses his dazzling aerial assault and the Second Rope 450 to pin Thomas in short order. But its what happens after the match that sets the crowd buzzing. While ACH is celebrating, Jay Lethal comes through the crowd and attacks him from behind. Lethal nails ACH with the title across the back of the head, then poses over ACH with the belt. Kevin Kelly screams in outrage as ROH TV quickly cuts to break. WINNER (and still Champion): ACH (Pinfall) Rating: 70% Segment 5 ACH is laying in the ring when Truth Martini comes through the curtain with a microphone in hand. Martini says that ACH winning was a fluke, as Jay Lethal was "under the weather" during their match last week. Martini says that Lethal is 100%, and if ACH was a REAL champion, he would put the title on the line tomorrow night, at the 13th Anniversary Show. Lethal holds ACH's head up as Martini asks for a response. ACH's words are censored for the TV, but it is obvious by Lethal's violent response that ACH told him what to do with himself. Lethal nails ACH with right hands before ROH security finally hits the ring to break things up. Lethal again poses with the TV Title. Rating: 67% Segment 6 ROH World Tag Team Championship reDRagon (c) vs. Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander Coleman & Alexander surprise everyone with their explosion of offense. The usual story of the champions dominating is changed in this one, as Coleman and Alexander have the champs on the ropes on several occasions. When Alexander hits a brainbuster on Fish and Coleman follows up with a diving leg drop from the top, everyone thinks we are in store for a title change. O'Reilly is able to break up the pin at the last possible moment. O'Reilly hits Alexander with a dropkick, sending him to the outside. Fish recovers and the champs hit Chasing the Dragon on Coleman to barely escape with the titles. Alexander and Coleman go for a handshake after the match, but reDRagon balk and bail out of the ring with smarmy smiles as they hold up the titles. Kelly and Corino are impressed with how close Coleman and Alexander were as the crowd applauds their effort and the show ends. WINNER: reDRagon (Pinfall) Rating: 67% OVERALL RATING: 64% TV RATING: 3.21 ATTENDANCE: 473 3.21 473

The day is upon us! Ring of Honor's next Pay Per View presentation, celebrating the 13th Anniversary of the most innovative wrestling organization in the world, is tonight! Be sure to tune in tonight, only on Pay Per View, and see the follwing matches: MAIN EVENT for the ROH World Championship Jay Briscoe defends against "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin! Michael Elgin is a man unhinged, and has made it clear that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win back the ROH World Championship. Jay Briscoe is a fighting champion, and a man who has backed down from no one. ROH Head Official Todd Sinclair will officiate this match and has told us that he WILL NOT DISQUALIFY either competitor in this match, no doubt in retaliation to the actions of Elgin 2 weeks ago on ROH TV. Some might say this puts Elgin at the advantage, but Jay Briscoe has a history of brutality in ROH that is second to none. What will happen with the World Championship on the line?
ACH defends his newly won TV Title vs. former champ Jay Lethal (w/ Truth Martini) ACH won the TV Championship 8 days ago on ROH TV, but just last night, Lethal brutually attacked the new champ after his defense against TaDarius Thomas. When Truth Martini demanded a rematch for his client, ACH had some choice words for the leader of the House of Truth. Now that the match is official, can ACH defend his title, or will Lethal take another page from the Book of Truth to regain his beloved posession?
The World Tag Team Championship is on the line when reDRagon defends against War Machine! War Machine is one of the dominant young teams on the scene here in Ring of Honor, and that has prompted ROH matchmakers to give them their first title opportunity. reDRagon were barely able to escape a war last night on ROH TV against Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander. Can War Machine capture ROH gold or will the wounded Champs continue their epic title reign?
In addition to these three marquee title matches you will see:
The ROH PPV debut of Shinsuke Nakamura when he faces Roderick Strong!
The ROH PPV debut of Kazuchika Okada vs. Tomasso Ciampa!
Another ROH PPV debut when the Time Splitters (Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA) square off with the Decade (BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs)!
A Four-Corners Showdown between Adam Cole, Rhett Titus, Cliff Compton & Mark Briscoe!
And things will start of with a BANG with a tag team Three-Way Elimination match! Young Bucks vs. AJ Styles & Matt Sydal vs. the Addiction!
Make sure you tune in TONIGHT at 8/7 central, only on Pay Per View!

2/22/15 Ring of Honor 13th Anniversary Show An intro video plays, citing some of the historic competitors and moments in the history of Ring of Honor. It then transitions into the night's major matches. We then go live to the arena where Kevin Kelly welcomes us to the city where it all started, Philadelphia, to celebrate Ring of Honor's 13th anniversary. Segment 1 Three-Way Elimination Tag Team Match Young Bucks vs. The Addiction vs. AJ Styles & Matt Sydal Both the Addiction and Styles & Sydal get tremendous reactions, but the place comes unglued when the Young Bucks come through the curtain. The match is Three-Way Dance rules, with one competitor from each team in the match at all times. Daniels, Sydal, and Matt Jackson start things off. Daniels wants to show off his dance moves, but the two Matts have none of it and take turns chopping the hell out of Daniels before sending him to the outside. Sydal and Jackson exchange counters before Sydal ducks a super kick and nails a Frankensteiner. Sydal tags in Styles who bypasses Jackson and hits a Fosbury Flop over the top onto Daniels for the first dive of the night. Sydal follows suit with a suicide dive onto Daniels. Kazarian sets up for an Asai Moonsault, but is dropkicked off the apron by Matt Jackson, who skins the cat, and Nick Jackson hits a suicide dive to Kazarian through Matt's legs. The crowd is unglued when the Bucks get in the ring and do their most muscular pose. Things settle down for a bit, before the Superkick Party ensues. The Bucks nail superkicks on Kazarian and Daniels, then AJ. Sydal is climbing to the top but is nailed with stereo Superkicks and slumps on the top rope. The Bucks play to the crowd, then spike Kazarian with the Meltzer Driver. Out of nowhere, Sydal hits the Shooting Star Press and gets the pinfall. THE ADDICTION IS ELIMINATED! The Bucks immeditely nail Sydal with another set of stereo superkicks. AJ hits Matt with a springboard forearm to the back of the head, sending Matt packing to the outside. AJ ducks a clothesline from Nick, then nails the Pele kick. AJ sets Nick up for the Styles Clash, but Matt is back in with a superkick to AJ. Sydal is back on the top, but Matt hits the ropes, crotching him, then hits a running dropkick, knocking Sydal to the floor. More Bang for Your Buck on AJ, and the Young Bucks get the three count. WINNERS: the Young Bucks (Pinfall) Rating: 75% Segment 2 TV Championship ACH (c) vs. Jay Lethal (w/ Truth Martini) Jay Lethal and Truth Martini make their entrance, with Martini proclaiming loudly that ACH is a fluke and the rightful champion is with him. ACH is met with massive cheers from the crowd, but is met with a bumrush much like the previous night on ROH TV. Lethal is the aggressor for much of the match, and every time ACH tries to counter or fire up, Lethal cuts him off. ACH is finally able to stymie the Lethal attacks and mounts some offense of his own. ACH's high-flying dazzles the crowd, including his Air Jordan springboard suicide dive. Much like their first TV title match, Martini plays a big part in the match. After the dive, ACH rolls Lethal in the ring and Martini catches his attention. The age-old distraction technique is a success and ACH pursues, allowing Lethal time to recover and attack ACH from behind. Lethal tosses ACH back into the ring and hits the Lethal Injection, but ACH kicks out at the last second. Lethal to the top for Hail to the King, but ACH rolls out of the way. Body slam and ACH hits the Dragon Fly (Frog Splash) but only gets 2. ACH goes up for the Best 450 Ever, but only gets a 2 count. Truth gets on the apron and goes to nail ACH with the Book of Truth, but ACH sees it coming. ACH grabs the book from Truth. He opens it, flips a few pages and perouses, then rips the book apart. Corino is in stitches over ACH literally taking a page out of the Book of Truth. Martini is beside himself as ACH destroys his book. Lethal sneaks in with a roll-up, but ACH kicks out. Lethal goes for another Lethal Injection, but ACH blocks and hits Lethal with the Big Bang Attack (cradle DDT) for the 3 count. ACH grabs his belt and bails, celebrating up the aisle. WINNER and STILL Champion: ACH (Pinfall) Rating: 75% Segment 3 Time Splitters vs. The Decade The Decade enters the ring and BJ Whitmer demands the microphone. He says that this is the Decade's house, and they will give the "Time Shitters" a proper welcome. Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA's music cuts off BJ's tirade, and the Time Splitters enter to a rousing ovation. Shelley is not amused and gets right in Whitmer's face. The two stand nose-to-nose trading barbs. Jacobs and KUSHIDA immediately trade right hands and the match begins as a brawl. All four men brawl to ringside and Kelly notes that the bell has yet to ring. Referee Todd Sinclair is attempting to regain order, and motions for more officials. Referees run out and get everyone separated. Each team goes to their corner and the additional referees return to the back. KUSHIDA and Whitmer start things off. The Decade has control of the match early on, using quick tags to keep KUSHIDA from his corner. Whitmer whips KUSHIDA in and strikes with a back elbow, following up with a brainbuster and going to the top and hitting a diving elbow drop. Jacobs tags in and tosses KUSHIDA into the ropes, but KUSHIDA hangs onto the ropes as Jacobs attempts a spinning heel kick. Kushida with a running basement dropkick and he makes the tag to Shelley. Shelley comes in the proverbial house of fire, driving a forearm into Whitmer that knocks him off the apron into the guardrail. While Whitmer is down on the outside, Shelley delivers the lungblower to Jacobs, and follows up with a double stomp from the top. Shelley nails Sliced Bread #2 but Whitmer makes the save. KUSHIDA runs in and dropkicks Whitmer in the knee and follows up with a devastating Buzzsaw kick to the head. This allows Time Splitters to hit I-94 and earn the victory. WINNERS: Time Splitters (Pinfall) Rating: 71% Segment 4 Kazuchika Okada vs. Tomasso Ciampa Ciampa makes what Kevin Kelly says was the fan-voted best entrance in ROH, before his music cuts off. Kazuchika Okada makes his entrance as Corino states that this is now the best entrance in ROH. Okada stands at the top of the ramp by the curtain and raises his arms to the sky. The arena is filled with money falling from the sky as Kevin Kelly emphatically welcomes the Rainmaker back to Ring of Honor. As the match begins, Kelly curiously notes Truth Martini watching the match from just in front of the curtain and asks what he's doing. Corino says that he spoke to Martini earlier in the day and that Martini said he's looking for a new member of the House of Truth. Back in the ring, Ciampa's early game plan is obvious: work on the arm of Okada.Ciampa uses an array of submission holds, but he isn't looking to make Okada submit. Corino notes that without his right arm, Okada can't hit that devastating Rainmaker clothesline. Ciampa mounts Okada and drives his knee into the right shoulder repeatedly. Ciampa tosses Okada to the floor and follows closely behind. Ciampa shoots a glance at Martini, who stands with his usual smirk on. Ciampa wraps the arm of Okada around the ring post, then pulls back on it and slams it around the post. Okada writhes on the floor in pain, but Ciampa isn't done. He again wraps Okada's arm around the post and grabs a chair. He's flirting with a DQ here, notes Kelly. Ciampa winds up and unleashes, but Okada moves his arm in time as the chair crashes loudly into the ring post. Ciampa's hands are in obvious pain, and Okada runs at him and hits him square with a back elbow. Okada rolls Ciampa back into the ring, and channels Eddie Guerrero with the frog splash from the apron into the ring. Okada scales the ropes and hits a diving elbow drop. Corino points out that Okada used the left arm when he usually uses the right for the elbow and questions the damage to the arm done by Ciampa. Okada lifts Ciampa and delivers Heavy Rain. He signals for the Rainmaker, cinches up Ciampa and delivers. Okada drops to the mat, his right arm causing him agony. Okada, minimally using his injured arm, is able to lock in Red Ink, and Ciampa has no choice but to tap out. Okada has his arm raised, still in obvious pain. He sees Martini, who is applauding. Kelly notes that while the Book of Truth was destroyed earlier, it looks as though Martini is attempting to add a new chapter WINNER: Kazuchika Okada (Submission) Rating: 73% Segment 5 Four-Corners Showdown Cliff Compton vs. Rhett Titus vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Adam Cole Briscoe is the obvious crowd favorite in this one, as "Man Up!" chants fill the building. At the bell, Briscoe and Compton pair off, as do Titus and Cole. The match is mayhem until Cole and Briscoe are the only two in the ring. Cole and Briscoe exchange offense, before Compton gets in and sends Cole through the ropes. Cole and Titus brawl around ringside and Compton and Briscoe go at it in the ring. Briscoe backdrops Compton over the top rope onto Titus and Cole. Briscoe fires up the crowd as he jumps up and down while hanging onto the ropes. When his three opponents get to their feet, Briscoe dazzles everyone with a springboard shooting star press to the floor. The crowd shows their appreciation with loud "ROH" and "Holy Shit" chants. Back in the ring, Titus hits a crucifix powerbomb on Cole, only to be nailed with a sitout scoop slam piledriver by Compton, which is identified by Corino as the Media Blitz. Briscoe sneaks in behind Compton and nails the Cut-Throat inverted DVD. Mark goes to the top and nails a Froggy Bow, but is interrupted by Cole who hits the Florida Key and is able to score the 3 count. Cole celebrates after the match, as Kelly and Corino can't overstate how important this win is to the World Title picture. WINNER: Adam Cole (Pinfall) Rating: 67% Segment 6 World Tag Team Championship reDRagon (c) vs. War Machine
reDRagon make their entrance to a nice ovation from, as Corino says, those who appreciate them for being the best tag team in the world. They lack the usual flare of their entrance, with Kyle O'Reilly sporting a slight limp and Bobby Fish favoring his left side. When they remove their warmup jackets, Fish is sporting the old taped ribs. Kevin Kelly says that he was talking to Fish before the show, and Fish made no mention of an injury, but the champions are obviously beaten and battered from their encounter with Coleman & Alexander the night before on ROH tv. Like champions do, they perservere. O'Reilly tries a few times to get a firm hold on Hanson, but the big man is too agile to get ahold of. In one instance when O'Reilly gets his hands on Hanson, the member of War Machine uses his vast strength to toss O'Reilly away. Fish is much more careful with Raymond Rowe. Corino notes that both Rowe and Hanson are more than passable when it comes to scientific wrestling, and it shows in Fish's cautious approach. Rowe gets the advantage and uses various suplexes and throws to Fish, until O'Reilly sneaks in and chop blocks Rowe from behind to take out his left leg. reDRagon is repeatedly able to goad Hanson into the ring, causing the referee to force him to return to his corner, allowing Fish and O'Reilly to make quick switches and double team Rowe. Finally Rowe is able to send O'Reilly into the ropes and hit a desparation clothesline that floors both men. O'Reilly tags in Fish but Rowe is able to tag Hanson at the last second to the delight of the crowd. Hanson is a one-man War Machine, using an array of power moves to both Fish and O'Reilly. Hanson hits O'Reilly with an exploder, then delivers a spin kick to an approaching Fish. Hanson follows up with a sitout double underhook powerbomb, dubbed the Sin City Plunge, to Fish, but O'Reilly breaks it up at the last second. Rowe joins the ring and we have a four-man fray. Hanson whips O'Reilly into the ropes, but O'Reilly uses the ropes a a pendulum, a la Nigel McGuinness, and hits a devastating clothesline to Hanson. Fish sends Rowe to the floor, then O'Reilly lifts Hanson into a suplex position, allowing the champs to nail Enter the Dragon, and retain the World Tag Team Titles. After the match, War Machine offer their hands for a handshake, and, unlike on last night's TV, the champions return the gesture. WINNERS and STILL Champions: reDRagon (Pinfall) Rating: 67% Segment 7 Roderick Strong vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Strong makes his entrance to a great ovation as Steve Corino talks about how much Roddy means to the history of ROH and is the unofficial ambassador the company has sent to welcome Nakamura. The arena comes unglued forthe entrance of the King of Strong Style, who makes his way to the ring as only he can, and the ROH fans show their appreciation. The Cold of Honor is followed by both men as the crowd chants both of their names. The match begins with Nakamura and Strong exchanging offense. Arm drag from Strong, and Nakamura follows suit. Strong runs into Nakamura shoulder first, barely budging him. Nakamura invites Strong to try again, only this time Nakamura hits Strong with a back elbow. Swagsuke takes control of the match, hitting a lariat and locking in a front sleeper hold. Strong powers out and hits the first of what is sure to be many backbreakers. Indeed, Strong hits a seemingly endless variation of backbreakers, splicing other moves in the middle. Strong is setting Nakamura up for the Strong Hold, but Nakamura reverses into an inside cradle for 2. Nakamura chops Strong, who fires back with a chop of his own. An exchange of stiff chops occurs, but Nakamura is able to outchop Strong, to the surprise of Kelly and Corino on commentary. Nakamura goes for a death valley driver, but Strong slides off. Strong goes for the Strong Breaker, but Nakamura slides over the back and hits a vicious Boma Ye out of nowhere to pick up the win. After the match, Nakamura and Strong again shake hands, and Strong raises he arm of the victor. WINNER: Shinsuke Nakamura (pinfall) Rating: 76% Segment 8 World Championship Jay Briscoe (c) vs. Michael Elgin
The crowd is at a fever pitch before the match even begins. Extra ROH officials, referees and security are in the ring so Bobby Cruise can properly announce the combatants. At the bell, Elgin charges Briscoe, but Jay dodges and Elgin crashes into the corner. Jay moves right in with right hands, but Elgin fires back, and the two slug each other with stiff rights. In what resmbles a hockey fight more than a wrestling match, Briscoe and Elgin continue to fire away with no sign of stopping. Referee Todd Sinclair remains in the corner, not even attempting to separate them. Out of nowhere, Elgin kicks Briscoe right in the nuts. Jay crumples to the mat as Elgin glares at Sinclair, who makes no indication that he is disqualifying the challenger. A sadistic smile crosses the face of Elgin, He moves in on the prone Briscoe, who proves to be playing possum before winding up and returning the favor, punching Elgin square in the baby maker. Elgin now crumples and Jay strikes with a Jay Driller, but Sinclair barely counts one before Elgin kicks out. Briscoe allows Elgin to get to his feet and goes for a clothesline, but Elgin ducks and German suplexes Jay, who upon impact slides right out of the ring and thuds on the floor. Elgin follows and gives Jay a tour of the ringside area, introducing him to seemingly every guardrail on the floor. Jay is able to reverse and sends Elgin crashing into the guardrail. Corino notes how Todd Sinclair is being true to his word, and letting the two beat the hell out of one another. Briscoe tosses a chair into the ring, followed by rolling Elgin back in. The two exchange offensive manouvers, all the while trying to incorporate the chair. Briscoe goes for a Jay Driller on the chair, but Elgin reverses and whips Briscoe to the ropes, only to be met with a big boot. Frog splash from Briscoe for 2. Briscoe goes to nail Elgin with the chair, but Elgin kicks Briscoe in the gut and follows with a spinning backfist. Elgin grabs the chair and hits a sickening chair shot to Briscoe. A buckle bomb is followed with a spinning Elgin bomb, and 3 seconds later, Michael Elgin is a two-time ROH Champion. As the show winds down, Kevin Kelly is irate at the actions of Elgin, and Corino wonders who, if anyone, can stop this monster. WINNER and NEW ROH World Champion: Michael Elgin (pinfall) Rating: 72% OVERALL RATING: 72% PPV BUYRATE: 0.39 ATTENDANCE: 4,126

Good show. I was gonna do predictions for the PPV, but I never got around to it.
Definitely a show of building new stars and laying the groundwork for your vision of ROH to come. I love the idea of a heel monster champ in the first place, but to have him be an unhinged psychopath is a nice twist. Makes him seem all the more lethal, and really begs the question of who will stop him. Right now, I couldn't even hazard a guess.

I hated to build to a pay per view the first month in with only a few shows, as I got to the last TV and realized I only had like 3 matches. Now with the next PPV being in June, I can get some good build and feuds going. Which reminds me, I posted a new thread/question over in General that I'm hoping someone can help with...
