Cause Mr. Anderson sucks and Bully Ray is eleven shades of awesome. Anderson has 26 months left on his contract. SPOILER ALERT Get ready for 26 months of Anderson jobbing. I have no qualms about this. Jed Shaffer ~Especially if he jobs to, say, a returning D-Ray 3000. Or the Brooklyn Brawler. Or Frank Gotch's ghost.

Final Resolution December 30, 2012 Reynolds Coliseum – Raleigh, NC The camera fades in to a live shot of a raucous crowd. The camera pans the crowd, showing the throngs of Impact Wrestling fans in attendance, as Mike Tenay and Taz greet us from the broadcast table. Tenay: Impact Wresting is LIVE! From the Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, North Carolina, it is time for Final Resolution! What a night we have in store for you! A new X Division champion will be crowned when the Phenomenal AJ Styles takes on the Pope, D'Angelo Dinero! We've got two HUGE tag team match ups in the Round Robin Tournament to crown new Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Champions! And Taz,its a grudge match, with no disqualification, when Kurt Angle takes on Jeff Hardy! Taz: Yea, Mike, and not for nuttin, but Jeff Hardy ain't at 100%. The kid is tough as nails, but he's got a fight with the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt freakin' Angle! But Tenay, I'm waitin' for the big one, the whole enchilada, Bobby Roode defendin' the gold against Austin Aries! Tenay: That's right, Taz. Let's go to the ring for our opening contest! Over the PA we hear “MISSSSTERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!” Singles matchMr. Anderson vs. Bully RayAnderson is halfway through his self-introduction, when he is attacked from behind by Bully Ray. Bully batters Anderson all the way down to the ring. He whips Anderson into the guardrails on either side of the entrance before tossing Anderson into the ring, and soaking up the jeers of the Raleigh crowd. After the bell sounds to signal the official start of the match, Bully retained the advantage he gained by his Pearl Harbor job. Bully used hard-hitting offense to keep Anderson grounded, until sinking in a rear chinlock. The crowd rallied behind Anderson, who was able to make it back to his feet and force Bully back into the corner behind him. Anderson gained the upper hand, using a series of kicks, punches, and a clothesline. Anderson goes for a second clothesline, but Bully ducks, both hit the ropes, and each clotheslines the other. The ref begins the 10-count. He gets to 4 before Bully begins to stir, 5 and Anderson is stirring. Both are up at 7, and trading fists in the center of the ring, with the crowd doing one of those nifty boo-yay things. Anderson hits a series of offensive strikes, followed up with a clothesline for a near-fall. Anderson brings Bully to his feet, and hits a neckbreaker for another 2-count. Anderson sets Bully up for the mic check, but Bully blocks it, and reverses into the setup for the Bully Bomb. Anderson hits a low blow, which the ref doesn't see, and hits the Mic Check for the pinfall victory. Rating: 81% Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match – Block AThe British Invasion vs. WGTTAs the British Invasion makes their way to the ring, Mike Tenay gives us a rundown of block A of the tournament. He states how big this match is, as the British Invasion and WGTT have each won their first match of the tournament, and the winner of this match will control the block and are all but assured a place in the final four at Against All Odds in February. WGTT makes their way out and gets quite a few cheers from the crowd, mostly since they have to root for someone. WGTT gains control early, and puts on a technical wrestling display, wowing everyone in attendance. The British Invasion keeps pace, and displays some nifty wrestling of their own. It is a back-and-forth contest, with quite a few near falls. The Brits get the advantage and nearly get the win with the bearhug/diving uppercut combo on Benjamin, but Haas is just able to break the count. With Haas and Magnus are on the outside, Shelton hits a superkick on Williams. Haas sends Magnus into the barricade just in time to see Shelton set Williams up for the Broken Arrow (leapfrog senton). Haas nails Williams, spelling the end for the British Invasion. Tenay notes that WGTT are in control of block A now that they have earned 2 more points. Rating: 79% World Television Championship MatchDevon © vs. Christopher DanielsAs the challenger makes his way to the ring, Tenay recaps how this match was made, with Daniels attacking Devon after a successful title defense and doing a number on Devon's left knee. Daniels challenged Devon a week later. Devon accepted, so here we are. Devon makes his way out, and Taz notes it is obvious he is in pain, both from Daniels' attack, and subsequent title defenses; its not easy being the Television Champion and defending the title week after week. Daniels attacks the knee right away, using a double-leg takedown and cinching in a single-leg Boston Crab. Daniels continues to work on the knee, keeping Devon grounded and using a variation of several leg submissions. Devon is finally able to escape a kneebar, and gets to his knees. He keeps Daniels at bay with wild punches, gets to his feet, but his knee buckles almost instantly, and he is ripe for the pickings. Daniels seizes the opportunity immediately, locking in the figure four in the middle of the ring. Devon tries to hang in, but the pain is too excruciating, and he is forced to tap. Daniels releases the hold right at the bell, and takes the title in celebration. Kazarian makes his way to the ring, with a celebratory Appetini for the new champion. Rating: 77% Knockouts ChampionshipGail Kim © vs. Mickie James“HARDCORE COUNTRY!” blares from the PA, and Tenay notes it signals the arrival of one of the most popular and successful Knockouts in TNA History, Mickie James. Mickie makes her way out, and it is obvious she is not her usual jovial self. Gone is the flannel shirt and short-shorts; instead, Mickie sports a black halter top and black bell-bottomed wrestling tights. Tenay notes a serious look of determination on her face. Taz says that Mickie has been on a hot streak as of late, including a tag team victory over the defending champion. He says she is “in the zone.” The champion is out next, and, as per usual, is accompanied by Madison Rayne. As they reach the end of the entrance ramp, referee Earl Hebner meets them there, and orders Madison to the back. Tenay makes mention of the history between Madison and Hebner, and says that the Impact Wrestling senior official is having none of her shenanigans tonight. The opening moments of the match are dominated by a newly-aggressive James. It is quickly made apparent that Taz and Tenay were correct in their earlier assessment of James' changed demeanor. Mickie is extra hard-hitting tonight. She uses an overhead belly-to-belly suplex into the corner, and follows up with a vicious running knee into the mush of Kim, causing a nose bleed from the champion. Mickie hits the Thesz press and nails Kim with a succession of rights to the face, beating and battering the champion until Hebner has to pull her off. Mickie sees Kim has staggered to her feet. She shoves Hebner out of the way, hits the ropes, and goes for a lariat on Kim, who ducks, and Mickie nails Hebner. Almost immediately, Madison Rayne dashes to the ring, chair in hand, and smashes Mickie across the back. She nails Mickie with 2 or 3 more shots to the body before rolling her over and placing Kim on top. Madison stirs Hebner, who crawls over to make the 3-count, enabling Gail Kim to retain. She leaves bloody, beaten, but somehow in better condition than her challenger, and still with the Knockouts championship in hand. Rating: 78% X-Division Championship – Tournament FinalsAJ Styles vs. D'Angelo DineroAs AJ and Dinero make their entrances, Tenay tells us how they got here. Styles beat Zema Ion and Dinero defeated Jay Lethal, setting up this encounter. Dinero dominates Styles early on, using a mat-based offense to keep the Phenomenal One grounded. Styles was able to hit a Pele kick (out of nowhere!) to neutralize Dinero. Styles is able to use quick strikes to maintain his advantage. Styles hits a brainbuster and follows with a frog splash from the top for a near fall. Styles tries for the Clash, but Dinero backdrops Styles and follows with a quick legdrop and a cover for a nearfall. Dinero goes for an elbow drop from the top, but Styles rolls out of the way, and quickly hits Dinero with the Styles Clash for the win, and the title. AJ takes the belt and goes into the crowd, celebrating with the people. Rating: 80% Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match – Block AFutureshock vs. Jay Lethal & Samoa JoeLethal and Kyle O'Reilly start out, and their speed is breathtaking as they trade offensive manouvers. Each tags out to his respective partner, and Joe uses his size and strength to work over Adam Cole. Joe arrogantly allows Cole to tag out to O'Reilly. O'Reilly uses his speed to his advantage, peppering Joe with quick strikes, and eventually backs Joe into the corner. Joe is able to grab O'Reilly on his next attack, and throws him across the ring. Joe powerbombs O'Reilly and transitions into a Boston Crab, but Cole breaks it up. Joe tags Lethal in, who slams O'Reilly and nails him with the Hail to the King elbow from the top. Jay goes for the Lethal Injection, but O'Reilly catches him, and hits Lethal with a half-nelson suplex. Both men are down as the referee administers the 10-count. Lethal is able to tag in Joe, just as O'Reilly tags in Cole. Cole nails a dropkick on Joe, sending him to the corner. Cole attacks and goes for a monkey flip, but Joe holds on and does a 180, seats Cole on the top rope, and has him set up for the Muscle Buster. O'Reilly is coming up behind Joe, and just as Joe turns, Lethal goes for a superkick on O'Reilly, but O'Reilly moves and Lethal nails Joe with the Superkick. O'Reilly clotheslines Lethal over the top, and Cole covers Joe for the 3-count, earning FutureShock the win, and 2 huge points in the Round Robin Tournament. Rating: 78% No DisqualificationKurt Angle vs. Jeff HardyJeff Hardy is out first, and as he's making his entrance, Angle does a Pearl Harbor job, and batters Hardy. Angle sends Hardy into the guardrails multiple times. Angle grabs a chair from under the ring and swings for the fences, but Hardy ducks and dropkicks Angle. Hardy tosses Angle into the ring, and immediately hits a Whisper in the Wind for a near fall. Hardy whips Angle into the corner and nails a chair-aided Poetry in Motion and follows up with a diving leg drop from the top. Hardy whips Angle into the ropes, but Angle reverses. Hardy hangs on to the ropes, Angle charges, and Hardy backdrops Angle over the top to the floor. Hardy hits a plancha onto Angle. Hardy drags Angle towards the entrance, where a table is conveniently set up on the floor in front of the stage area. Hardy places Angle on the table, and goes up the stage and through the entrance. As Tenay wonders where Hardy has gone, Taz suddenly says he sees Hardy and says “holy crap!” The camera pans up, and Hardy is up on the entrance just to the left of the video screen. He is legitimately 15 feet in the air. Hardy takes off, and time seems to stand still as he executes a Swanton Bomb. When he hits his target, the table 15 feet down and 8 feet away from where he launches from, Angle is no longer on it. Hardy crashes through the table, decimating it and himself. Angle picks up Hardy's limp body and carries him to the ring. Angle covers Hardy, but pulls his head up when the count hits 2. Angle drags Hardy to his feet and goes for a German Suplex. Somehow, some way, Hardy blocks and hits a double mule kick. Both men are on the mat. Angle is first to his feet, and he pulls down the straps as Hardy is struggling to his feet. Angle reaches into his tights and pulls out brass knuckles. Angle puts them on, and as Hardy turns around, Angle nails Hardy. Angle, never one to miss out on a show-stealing spot, goes to the top. Angle misses an incredible moonsault, as Hardy just rolls out of the way. Hardy drags himself to his feet, goes to the top, takes off his shirt and throws it on Angle. Hardy tries another Swanton Bomb, missing again. Angle takes the t-shirt and wraps it around the neck of Hardy. Angle has Hardy in a move resembling a crossface, but he is choking the life out of Hardy with his own shirt. Reluctantly, Hardy is finally forced to tap out. Both men are spent, and medics and officials have to come out to assist both Hardy and Angle to the back as the crowd gives both men a standing ovation. Rating: 89% MAIN EVENT Impact Wrestling World ChampionshipBobby Roode © vs. Austin AriesThe challenger makes his entrance first, and Tenay and Taz state the all-or-nothing risk Aries took to get this match. Its do-or-die time for the Greatest Man That Ever Lived. Aries is eager to lock up, but Roode stalls, and goes to the outside. This happens a few more times, and the crowd is all over Roode. Finally, Roode locks up with Aries, only to poke Aries in the eyes to gain a back-handed advantage. Roode hits a neckbreaker, then locks a rear chinlock on Aries. Aries gets back to a standing base, but Roode transitions to a side headlock, and Aries back suplexes Roode. Aries rolls over and goes for the Last Chancery, but Roode scurries to the outside. Aries hits a suicide dive through the second and bottom ropes to take out Roode. Aries throws Roode into the stairs, then climbs to the apron. Aries waits for Roode to get to his feet, then dives at Roode, who is able to use Aries' own momentum to drive his opponent to the floor with a powerslam. Roode rolls into the ring and urges referee Brian Hebner to count to 10. Hebner reaches 7 before Aries slides into the ring. Roode stopms Aries, then picks Aries up and whips him into the corner. Roode follows but Aries is able to get his feet up and Roode's face meets Aries' boots. Aries clotheslines Roode then goes for a pin. Roode slips out and locks on the crossface. Aries struggles, but notices the ropes on the other side of Roode, and Aries rolls his body over top of Roode and gets to the ropes. Roode gets Aries to his feet and goes for Paydirt. Aries blocks and hits a brainbuster. Aries quickly goes to the top, and hits a picture-perfect 450 splash for the three count. The crowd goes ballistic as referee Hebner presents Austin Aries with the TNA World Championship. As we fade to black, our last image is Aries on his knees in the middle of the ring, and confetti flies in the arena. Rating: 79% OVERALL RATING: 80% The show earned a .94 buyrate and 11,679 Attendance

www.impactwrestling.com1/3/13 IMPACT LIVE! PreviewTonight is the first Impact LIVE! of the new year. On tonight's program: - We will hear from the NEW Impact Wrestling World Champion, Austin Aries! Aries won the title in a hard-fought match on Sunday at Final Resolution. The champ will have words for his fans, only on Spike! - We will have a big matchup that could go a long way in determining Aries' first challenger for the World Championship, when Bully Ray takes on Rob Van Dam. These two are very familiar with one another, and its anyone's guess who will come out on top tonight! - We have 2 HUGE matches in the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Tournament! - In Block A action, the British Invasion look to snag a share of the block lead. They already picked up 2 points in their first match of the tournament, and a victory tonight would have them deadlocked with the World's Greatest Tag Team at 4 points a piece. It won't be easy, as they will have to face a team looking to gain their first victory in the Tournament, Jay Lethal & Samoa Joe. Mis-communication led to Joe & Lethal dropping their first match. Can the Samoan Submission Machine and his former protege get back into the race to join the Final Four at Turning Point in February, or will the Brits stay ahead of the pack? - And in a Block B matchup, La Familia, Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero, will lock horns with the Icon Sting and his partner, Garrett Bischoff. A win for Guerrero & Hernandez will solidify their lead of the group with 4 points. Meanwhile, the veteran and the rookie look to gain valuable points in their quest to shock the wrestling world and become Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Champions. Who will win? Find out tonight on Impact LIVE! - Mike Tenay was able to grab a sit-down interview with the new Impact Wrestling X Division Champion, AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One had some poignant comments for the Professor. See what he had to say, and his plans for the future, now that he is a record seven-time X Division Champion. AJ will also be in non-title action as he defends against Kid Kash. - The new Television Champion the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels will be in action tonight when he defends his newly-won title against Mr. Anderson. Can Anderson dethrone the new champ, or will the Fallen Angel crucify the Asshole? - Knockouts Champion Gail Kim will defend her title this week. Kim was able to retain her title over Mickie James at Final Resolution, but not without a huge assist from Madison Rayne (and a steel chair). - Speaking of Mickie, she is out of action for an undetermined amount of time after the battering she took from Madison Rayne. We hope to have news on Mickie soon. - All this and much, much more, tonight on Impact Wrestling LIVE! at 8 eastern, 7 central, on SPIKE.

(note: I've been trying to update for some time, but I feel like I lack creativity in match descriptions. So on Impact, matches will just be short descriptions of what happened.) Impact January 3, 2013 El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso, Texas The Impact Wrestling logo shows on the screen, followed by a video highlighting the goings-on at Final Resolution, including the crowning of a new Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. The standard Impact Wrestling opening video plays, and we fade into the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas. Pyro and ballyhoo are abundant in the arena, and we go to the announce table. Tenay: “What a night it was just 4 days ago, at Final Resolution! A new Television Champion was crowned in the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels! The X-Division Title is back in the familiar hands of the Phenomenal AJ Styles! And, the biggest prize in the game, the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship was taken from the waist of Bobby Roode and went to the unlilely underdog, the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived, Austin Aries! We will address all these issues and more tonight! But first, we go to the ring for a Tag Team Championship Tournament Match!” Segment 1 Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match – Block BSting & Garrett Bischoff (0 points) vs. La Familia (2 points) Sting uses his experience to get the edge, but Garrett's lack thereof winds up costing he and Sting, as Hernandez and Chavo earn the win and 2 critical points in the tournament. Rating: 60% Segment 2 Taz and Tenay are giving a rundown of Final Resolution, when Madison Rayne's music hits. Madison makes her way to the ring, waving to her loyal subjects along the way. She gets in the ring and asks for a microphone. Madison: “My loyal subjects, I have enjoyed my time being your Queen. But even royalty has a short shelf life. It is time for me to hand over my crown to someone who is so much more worthy than myself to be Queen of the Knockouts. Ladies and Gentlemen, rise to your feet and salute the new Queen of Impact Wrestling, the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion in Impact Wrestling history, Queen Gail Kim!” Gail Kim's music plays, and a red carpet is rolled out from the entrance down to the ring. Out from the entrance come four muscle-bound men carrying a Sedan chair, upon which sits Gail Kim. They carry Gail down the ramp to the ring, and lower the Sedan level with the ring. While Gail was making her grand entrance, a throne was set up in the ring. Gail enters the ring, and Madison kneels before her. Gail puts her hand out to Madison, to which Madison kisses Gail's hand. Madison leads Gail to the throne and Gail takes a seat. Madison takes the crown off of her head and, with a giant smile across her face, places it atop the head of Gail. Madison then retrieves a sash reading “QUEEN OF THE KNOCKOUTS” and places it across Gail's shoulder. Madison hugs Kim, and hands her the microphone. Gail: “My loyal subjects, it is an honor to be your Queen, and the Queen of the Knockouts! Madison, I am humbled that you would recognize my greatness and bestow this honor upon me. But, dear Madison, once you're royalty, you stay royalty. Therefore, I now declare the, Princess Madison! Minions, bring my Princess her crown!” One of the men who carried Queen Gail's Sedan entered the ring with a crown that was much smaller than the one Madison had just given to Gail. Madison kneeled before Gail, and Queen Gail placed the crown on Madison's head. Madison stood, and the two again embraced as tears welled in Madison's eyes. Gail: “Now that the formalities have been taken care of, I demand that the Knockouts send me their next sacrifice!” Rating: 72% Segment 3 Knockouts ChampionshipQueen Gail Kim © (w/ Princess Madison) vs. TaraQueen Gail and Tara have a pretty even fight, and each teases hitting their finisher. Queen Gail escapes the Widow's Peak and is able to hit Eat Defeat, get the win, and retain the Knockouts Championship. Rating: 65% Segment 4 Back from break, the camera is on Mike Tenay and Taz at the announce table. Tenay: “This past Sunday at Final Resolution, the X Division Championship found itself back in familiar hands when AJ Styles won it for a record seventh time. Earlier today, I had a chance to sit down with the Phenomenal One. “ We cut to a video with “Earlier Today” in the corner of the screen. Mike Tenay and AJ Styles are sitting in a section of empty seats in the El Paso County Coliseum. AJ has the X Division Championship resting on his lap. Tenay: “AJ, Sunday you defeated Zema Ion for a record seventh X Division Championship reign. What does this mean to you?” AJ: “Mike, I have been in Impact Wrestling since day 1. Since the weekly Pay Per Views. I helped build this company. This belt has been a cornerstone of TNA, Impact Wrestling, whatever. Think of some of the names that held this belt. Jerry Lynn. Low Ki. Chris Sabin. Samoa Joe. Kurt Angle. When people thought of TNA, they thought of the X Division. This belt was the main event belt. It meant more than the World Heavyweight Championship. But things have changed. Austin Aries, no disrespect intended, he has moved to great heights. He took the X Division Championship and rode it all the way to the top. But in the process, the division broke down. He threw the X Division to the wayside. I'm here to bring it back. It is time to show the X Division is the premier division in Wrestling.” Rating: 82% Segment 5 Non-title matchChristopher Daniels (TV Champion) vs. Mr. AndersonAnderson is out first, doing his usual intro schtick. Daniels comes out next, and calls for the microphone at the top of the ramp. The microphone comes down, and Daniels grabs it. Daniels: "Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you, from Sin City, the reigning and defending Impact Wrestling World Television Champion, and the best wrestler in the world today, the Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels! Now, that is how you do an introduction, assholes!" Daniels makes his way to the ring, but is cut off as Anderson attacks him as Daniels climbs to the apron. Anderson nails Daniels, and drags him through the ropes into the ring. Anderson goes directly for the mic check, but Daniels reverses, and hits the Angels' Wings, and pins Anderson in seconds. Daniels celebrates, his TV Championship still around his waist. Rating: 70% Segment 6 Kurt Angle's music plays when we return to break. Wrestling's only Olympic Gold Medalist goes to the ring and asks for, and is given, a microphone. “Its no secret my credentials in this business. I am a multi-time former World Champion. I've beaten the biggest names in the history of this business. Austin. Rock. Triple H. Flair. Booker T. Steiner. Joe. Styles. Hardy.” Angle stops for a moment, shakes his head, and smirks. Hardy...Hardy, Hardy, Hardy. Man, kid, you can take a beating. We put it all out there Sunday. Jeff, you gave me one of the toughest fights I've ever been in. I had to go to extraordinary lengths to beat you. And that's the thing. I have nothing but respect for Jeff Hardy. As he showed on Sunday, he will put his life on the line if it means being at the top of the sport. But make no mistake, Hardy, or anyone else for that matter. Kurt Angle is taking no prisoners. From this moment forward, I have a one-track mind, and one mission: to once again become the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. I have a killer instinct, and its leading me to gold. Oh, and Jeff...once your bruises heal, if you want another go-round, just name the time and place, bud. I'll be there. And it'll only get worse.” Rating: 93% Segment 7 X Division ChampionshipAJ Styles © vs. Kid KashAJ's first title defense back in the X Division is a successful one. Kid Kash puts up a good fight, but Styles is too much, and the Styles Clash puts Kash down for the 1-2-3. Rating: 65% Segment 8 Jeremy Borash is backstage, and catches up with Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal walking down the hall. JB: “Joe, Jay, can I get a word for just a second? At Final Resolution, things were looking good, until a mistimed super kick put Joe down for the 3-count. Can you guys rebound tonight and get back on track?” Joe just looks at Borash, and turns to walk away. Lethal takes the microphone. Lethal: “JB, what happened Sunday was a mistake. Mistakes happen. Joe knows that, and that mistake will fuel our fire for the rest of this tournament. There's no turning back now. We need wins from here on out. And that's what will happen. Tonight, the British Invasion becomes the first victims of Joe and Lethal.” Rating: 81% Segment 9 Bully Ray vs. Rob Van DamThe match is even in the opening moments, as Bully and RVD show how evenly matched they are. RVD gains the advantage, but misses a split-legged moonsault. Bully is able to hit a cutter, followed by the Bully Bomb, and gets the win. Rating: 72% Segment 10 We go to the ring, where Jeremy Borash is holding the microphone. JB: “Ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome, your NEW Impact Wrestling World Champion, Austin Aries!” A-Double makes his way to the ring to a tremendous ovation. AA: “Hey guys, thanks for all that. Wow. This past 4 days has been a whirlwind. Media, autographs, and all that, the life of the champ is never easy. But that's the life we all, every wrestler in that locker room, that's the life we want to lead. It means you're the best. To coin a phrase, it means you're the man. From here on out, I know what's ahead of me. Everyone in that locker room is gunning for me. And that's fine. I'm not just called the Greatest Man that Ever Lived because I need some fancy nickname. I am called that because that's what I am. And before it's all said and done, and I hang my boots up for good, you all will see the Greatest Champion that Ever Lived!” Rating: 79% Segment 11 World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match – Block AJay Lethal & Samoa Joe (0 points) vs. the British Invasion (2 points) The match starts off with a good trade of moves by Joe & Doug Williams, followed by each tagging out to their respective partner. Lethal & Magnus put on a great display of chain wrestling, before Lethal sends Magnus to the outside and takes him out with a dive. Joe and Lethal control the match, making frequent tags and keeping Magnus isolated from Williams. Magnus is able to fight back, and TBI return favor, keeping Lethal away from Joe. Lethal is able to mount a comeback, and gets the tag to Joe. Joe runs wild on TBI, knocking them all over the ring. The British Invasion both attack Joe, and Lethal comes back to help Joe fight. Lethal goes for a springboard spinning heel kick, but Williams moves, and Lethal nails Joe. Williams send Joe to the outside, and Magnus hits the diving elbow drop to get the 3-count. After the match, the British Invasion bail and celebrate up the aisle. Lethal goes back to the ring to help Joe to his feet. Joe gets up, and shoves Lethal away. Lethal attempts to explain his mistake to Joe, but Joe leaves the ring and heads up the aisle. The camera switches to a desperate-looking Lethal in the ring, and back to an irate, stone-faced Joe walking to the back, as the show fades. Rating: 70% OVERALL RATING: 73% Impact got a 5.09 rating, attendance was 4,033.

Impact January 10, 2013 The Event Center at San Jose State University San Jose, California We go right from the Impact Wrestling logo, to a live shot of the arena. No PYRO, or BALLYHOO, just the cheering masses, as the Motor City Machine Guns' music hits, and the Guns make their way to the ring. The camera cuts to the ring, where Robbie E. and Robbie T. are playing to the crowd. Mike Tenay: “Welcome to Impact Wrestling. We are live from the San Jose, California tonight, and we're getting right into the action!” Taz: Not for nuttin' Mike, not for nuttin!” Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match – Block BMotor City Machine Guns (2 points) vs. Robbie E. & Robbie T. (0 points) The Robbie's put up a good fight, but the speed and precision of the Machine Guns proves to be too much, as the team from the Motor City hits Made in Detroit on Robbie E. to get the win, and 2 precious points in the tournament. Rating: 76% After the break, Mike Tenay and Tazz are running down the card for tonight, when suddenly, Jeff Hardy's music hits. The Impact faithful in attendance go ballistic as the Charismatic Enigma slowly and painfully makes his way to the ring. Tenay and Tazz convey shock as Hardy was not scheduled to be here tonight. Jeff Hardy: “Creatures, thanks for that warm welcome. I stand before you a beaten man. Kurt Angle brought me to places I've never been. I've been beaten before, but not like this. And in my own type of match. In the few weeks I've been off, I've done a lot of thinking. I can't say that I didn't think this was the end of my career. But I'm slowly healing, and I'll be ready in time for, oh, say, Turning Point. So as I was sitting at home in Cameron, North Carolina, I was watching Impact, and I heard Kurt Angle say any place, any time, we could hook it up again. Kurt, as beaten as I am, that sounds like a wonderful idea. At Turning Point, I'll be prime for another go-round with the Olympic Gold Medalist. But I gotta say, we already tore the house down with a No Disqualification match. So, my question is, Kurt, how do we up the ante? I've got an idea, but I'll let you ponder it for a bit.” As Jeff leaves the ring, Tenay wonders aloud what exactly Hardy meant by “Up the ante.” Rating: 89% Knockouts Tag MatchAngelina Love & Winter vs. Velvet Sky & TaraThis one barely even starts before Queen Gail and Princess Madison run in and attack everyone. Queen Gail breaks her royal scepter over Velvet Sky's head, and the four Knockouts lie in a heap in the ring, as Gail looks on menacingly. Rating: 67% After a break, Gail & Madison are still in the ring. Princess Madison grabs the microphone. Princess Madison: “Silence, peasants! Everyone to your knees and bow to your Queen, the Queen of Impact Wrestling, Queen Gail Kim!” Queen Gail: “Loyal subjects, rejoice, for I, Queen Gail, grace you with my royal presence. As you see, I have vanquished these four strumpets from my royal hunting grounds. There is nary a woman in Impact Wrestling that has the fortitude to remove the crowd from my atop my head, nor this title from around my waist. I have rid this kingdom of the vile Mickie James. She is done. Vanquished! VANQUISHED!!!!!!!!! Therefore, my loyal subjects, I give to you this royal proclamation: I shall rid the Impact hunting grounds of all the female competitors who are beneath me, and I shall rule this Kingdom as Queen Gail. FOREVER!” Rating: 71% We come back from break, and Tenay is recapping the previous events with Queen Gail Kim and Princess Madison, when we hear “ANDERSON!” Mr. Anderson makes his way to the ring, looking sullen. He does his usual rhetoric, and saunters to the ring. Tenay comments on the lackadaisical presence of Anderson, as the former Television Champion Devon enters. Singles MatchDevon vs. Mr. AndersonThe two competitors each get some signature spots in, before Anderson gains the upper hand. Anderson has Devon ripe for the pickings (Gorilla), but Devon slips out of the Mic Check and hits the Spinebuster to get the pin. Rating: 72% After the match, Devon asks for a microphone. Devon: “Daniels, I'm gonna make this short and sweet. I want a rematch for the Television Championship. So, Impact Wrestling Board of Directors, name the time and the place. I'll be ready.” Rating: 72% Television ChampionshipChristopher Daniels © vs. James StormDaniels opens with a lot of posturing and stalling, drawing the ire of the crowd. Storm eventually corners Daniels and gains the upper hand. Both competitors trade the advantage, and before a commercial break, Daniels' partner, Kaz, makes his way down to the ring. When we return from the break, Storm has the upper hand. He sets Daniels up for the super kick, but Kaz hits the ring and attacks Storm, drawing the DQ, and saving the match for his partner. Daniels and Kaz beat down Storm , before none other than Storm's former partner, Robert Roode, runs them off with a steel chair! Roode helps Storm to his feet, and when Storm regains his bearings and realizes what happened, he swats Roode away and stares at him. Roode says something inaudible to Storm, throws the chair down, and bails. The camera stays on Roode as he backs up the aisle, and he says “you owe me, Storm. You owe me.” Rating: 82% World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match – Block AEric Young & ODB (0 points) vs. Futureshock (2 points) EY & ODB's comedic antics are no match for O'Reilly and Cole's technical prowess. The match breaks down and with all four competitors in the ring, O'Reilly sends EY to the outside, and superkicks ODB as Cole nails her with the Florida Key (X-Plex) to get the 3 count, and 2 points. Rating: 68% We come back from break, and Bully Ray makes his way to the ring. “For those of you that don't know, my name is Bully Ray, and I am the best wrestler in this company. I am the best wrestler in the world today. So, why is it that I can't get a World Heavyweight Title shot? Rob Van Dam is on a losing streak, but he gets a title shot? That's pure b.s. I beat Van Dam last week. I can beat anyone in this company, or in any company. So I'll tell ya what: I don't care if its RVD, or its that midget Aries, but I want the next title match. So I'm layin' down the challenge. February 17th. Turning Point. Bully Ray challenges the World Champion.” Rating: 81% X-Division Triple Threat Match Zema Ion vs. Jesse Sorenesen vs. Garrett BischoffThree X-Division stars square off, and its the X-Division in all its high-flying glory. With Sorensen neutralized on the outside by taking dives from Ion and Bischoff, Ion hits the Gory Bomb, followed by a 450 splash to get the victory. Rating: 62% Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight ChampionshipAustin Aries © vs. Rob Van DamThe crowd is very much split for this one, and quite frankly a slight majority are on RVD's side. All the standard manouvers are hit, and after RVD misses the 5 Star Frog Splash, Aries hits the Brainbuster and gets the pinfall, retaining the World Championship. After the match, RVD shakes Aries' hand and raises his arm, showing his approval for the new Champ as Impact fades to black. Rating: 84% OVERALL RATING: 75% Impact got a 4.53 rating. Attendance was 4,048.

www.impactwrestling.com- The World Title picture in Impact Wrestling is taking shape as we get closer to Turning Point. Bully Ray made it clear that he wants a title shot at Impact Wrestling's next Pay Per View offering. Will Aries accept the challenge? - "The Charasmatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy returned to Impact this week, still the worse for ware from his epic battle with Kurt Angle at Final Resolution. Hardy said he heard what Angle had to say 2 weeks ago, and Hardy will be ready by the time Turning Point rolls around. He also said he had some ideas to "up the ante." We will get wrestling's only Olympic Gold Medalist's response, this week on Impact. - "Cowboy" James Storm looked like he was on his way to capturing the Television Championship, when champion Christopher Daniels' partner in Bad Influence, Kaz, interfered, costing Daniels the match, but saving his title. With Bad Influence beating down Storm, who should come to his rescue, but his former partner Bobby Roode! Storm looked shocked, and with all the bad blood that has gone down between them, who could blame him? Roode said that Storm "owes him." What will happen this week on Impact, when Bobby Roode takes on Kaz in a one-on-one encounter? - Speaking of the Television Championship, the former champ, Devon, issued an open challenge for Christopher Daniels for a return match. We have just been handed word that, in less than 3 weeks, in what has been promised by the Impact Wrestling board of directors to be a HUGE night on Impact Wrestling, Devon will get that shot at the Television Championship! - We're a few weeks into the World Tag Team Championship Round Robin Tournament, and its still anyone's game. We have two more big matches in the tournament this week. -- In Block A action, Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin, collectively known as Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, will take on the mentor and protege team of Samoa Joe & Jay Lethal. Haas & Benjamin are 2-0, and thus have 4 points, tying them for the lead of their block. Joe & Lethal have had a tumultuous time thus far, but a win here would give them their first points, and put them back in the race to make it to the Final Four at Turning Point. -- As for Block B, the brother tandem of Jay & Mark Briscoe will face the rookie & legend team of Garrett Bischoff & Sting. Neither team has earned a point thus yet, and both are looking to claw back into the race for their block lead, and to reach the Final Four. - The Knockout Champion, and self-proclaimed "Queen of TNA" Gail Kim, along with "Princess" Madison Rayne (and a steel chair), took out four Knockouts on Impact. "Queen" Gail proclaimed herself the eternal Knockouts champion, and said no one could stop her. We have been informed that noneother than the former champion, "Hardcore Country" Mickie James, has a special message for Gail & Madison, and we will hear it this week on Impact! - Mr. Anderson has been on a bit of a losing streak as of late. Will this continue? Anderson has demanded a match this week. Who will his opponent be? Will they continue Anderson on his losing way? All this and more, this week on Impact! LIVE on Spike TV!

www.realwrasslinnewz.comJanuary 15, 2013 BREAKING IMPACT WRESTLING NEWS We received the following e-mail from Dixie Carter this afternoon regarding Impact Wrestling: It is my unfortunate duty to announce that Impact Wrestling and Al Snow have parted ways. Al did a lot of great things for Impact Wrestling, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. We wish Al all the best. This left us with a vacancy at the position of representative for the Board of Directors. We at Impact Wrestling wanted to get someone to represent the board who we also felt could represent the locker room as well. So we reached out and were able to make an agreement with the one and only, the legendary Nature Boy himself, Ric Flair! We look forward to a great relationship with Mr. Flair and know the Impact Wrestling faithful will enjoy seeing the Nature Boy on Impact.

Impact January 17, 2013 UNF Arena - Jacksonville, FL The Impact opening video plays, and we go to the arena, and cue the PYRO and BALLYHOO. The cameras scan a rabid crowd as “LIVE – Jacksonville, FL” displays on the screen. We go to the announce desk, where Tenay and Tazz run down tonight's show, including the two Tag Team Championship Tournament matches, and our huge main event of Bully Ray & Kurt Angle against Impact Wrestling World Champion Austin Aries and a mystery partner, when they are cut off by the music of the Champion, Austin Aries. Aries soaks in the adulation of the Impact faithful, before raising a microphone. Aries: “Sssshhh, the champ is speaking. Last week, Bully Ray, you came out here and said you want to challenge for the championship, my World Championship, at Turning Point. Well, Bully, I'm here, and look here, I'm still the champ, and I'm a fighting champion. I proved that last week by beating Rob Van Dam. So I'll make this simple: no board of directors necessary. You want a match with me? You've got it. Turning Point. Bully Ray vs. Austin Aries for the Impact -” Aries is cut off by the music of the man who will challenge him at Turning Point, Bully Ray. Ray gets into the ring and grabs his own microphone. Bully: “Aries, I'm glad you came to your senses and accepted my challenge. Finally, you'll face someone who deserves to challenge for that belt. You want to come out here and brag about beating RVD? I already beat him 2 weeks ago, so you proved nothin' there, son. You can come out here and talk all the crap you want about being a “fighting champion” and “taking on all comers” and all the other b.s. that these idiots will suck up. But you just made the mistake of your life, pal. At Turning Point, I'm going to cripple you, end you, and take your title. There will be no return match, no revenge match, none of that, because, Aries, I'm a Bully. And bullies have a history of taking out everyone smaller and weaker than them. And, lets face it, I don't know how you won that belt, because there is no one smaller and weaker than you.” The Impact crowd ooohs and aaahs, then boos ferociously at Bully Ray. Aries is visibly enraged, the usual smirk wiped off his face. Bully turns towards the crowd. Bully: “Aww, you didn't like that? Look at me. Wrestler. Brawler. I am the prototype World Heavyweight Champion, not this midget!” Aries has had enough, drops the title, and goes after Bully Ray. Fists are thrown by both men, but Impact Wrestling officials and security quickly hit the ring and separate the two. Bully bails, and the two trade verbal barbs as we go to commercial. Rating: 76% X Division ChampionshipAJ Styles © vs. Zema IonThe Phenomenal One receives a huge ovation upon his entrance, as he proudly wears the X Division Championship around his waist. Ion's reception is not so gracious. Ion gets in a few nice maneuvers, but the match is all AJ, as Styles hits his signature moves and finishes off Ion with the Styles Clash to retain the X Division Championship. But the real story is after the match, when someone wearing a hoodie and jeans jumps the rail and attacks Styles. Styles is beaten down by the mystery man. He lifts Styles into a fireman's carry and suddenly drops to his back, launching Styles into a gutbuster. He quickly gets back up, clinches Styles for a suplex, and flips Styles in the air, again going to his own back, and nailing Styles with a vicious backbreaker across his legs. The man gets up and removes his hood. Tenay: “Tazz! You know who that is? That's Roderick Strong! What's he doing in Imapct Wrestling???” Strong looks down at Styles, then quickly bails before security hits the ring, and takes off through the crowd. WINNER: AJ Styles Rating: 79% We come back from break and go to the ring, where Mike Tenay is standing. Tenay: “Fans, its been a few weeks since we've heard from one of the most popular knockouts ever. Joining us live via satellite from Nashville, Mickie James!” The crowd cheers as Mickie appears on the arena video screen. Mickie: “Hi, Mike, and everyone there in Jacksonville!” Tenay: “Mickie, as I said in your intro, its been a few weeks since the heinous attack by the self-proclaimed Queen of Impact Wrestling, the Knockouts Champion, Gail Kim, and her Princess, Madison Rayne. First of all, how are you feeling, Mickie?” Mickie: “Mike, I was beat up for a while. What Gail and Madison did was indeed heinous. But I'm a competitor. I'm a multi-time champion in organizations worldwide. I've wrestled hurt before; we all have. But, my doctor has insisted that I wait until I'm 100% to return to Impact Wrestling. I feel fine now, so don't worry, I'll be back soon. Now, while I've been out recuperating, I've had a chance to record some new music that I've been writing, and even made a new video! And Mike, next week I will be back for the world premiere of my newest music video! I saw “Queen” Gail come out there last week and say you rid Impact Wrestling of Mickie James. Gail, you may have beaten me, you may have taken my title, and you and your tramp “Princess” may have beaten me down, but make no mistake: I WILL come back very soon, like the knight in shining armor, with staff and shield in hand, and slay the two-headed dragon that has laid claim to my throne as Knockouts Champion! Rating: 87% Mr. Anderson vs. Chavo GuerreroMr. Anderson looked more dejected than ever this week, leading the crowd in an uninspired version of his usual introduction. Chavo was easily able to take control and get the win after hitting the Frog Splash. WINNER: Chavo Guerrero Rating: 75% Back from break, the music of pro wrestling's only Olympic Gold Medalist blares throughout the arena, and Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring. Angle quickly grabs a microphone. Angle: “Jeff Hardy. You come out here last week, and you accepted my challenge. You want a match at Turning Point. Good. You got it. You and your “creatures” had better show up ready to fight because what I did to you at Final Resolution is going to pale in comparison to the beating that I deal you at Turning Point. You want to “up the ante” Jeff? I don't know what that means, but I suppose that's what you want. You want me quaking in my boots at the thought of what kind of devious match you can think up. Jeff, I don't give a damn what “up the ante” means. Pick the match. Take all day. Sit in your little house in backwoods North Carolina, make your little internet videos, play pattycake with your brother, do whatever you have to and come up with the most evil thing you can conjure up in what's left of your imagination. It doesn't matter, Jeff, because, come February 17, I'm going to beat you like the dog that you are! Its real, Jeff, its damn real. Rating: 95% World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Block BSting & Garrett Bischoff (0 points) vs. the Briscoe Brothers (0 points)Sting goes toe-to-toe with both Mark and Jay Briscoe to start off the match, but when Garrett is in the ring, his inexperience comes out and he falls victim to the Jay Driller, and the Briscoes get the pin and 2 more big points. WINNER: Briscoe Brothers Rating: 76% We come back from the break and Robert Roode is in the ring, microphone in hand. He looks to be all business tonight. Roode: “In life, we all make decisions. Those decisions affect the way our lives play out on a daily basis. Over a year ago, I made such a decision when I busted a beer bottle of James Storm's head. At the time, that was the right decision. That won me the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. But since that night, I've had the thought in the back of my mind 'what if you didn't do that, Bobby?' “What if I didn't shatter that bottle over the Cowboy's head? I could've won that match straight-up. I wouldn't have been embroiled in a blood feud with a man who I once considered my best friend. I wouldn't have spent the better part of a year killing myself to lay a beating on a man who considered me a brother. I know I can't change the past. What's done is done. But what I can do, I can try to right those wrongs by having James Storm's back now. So James, come on out here and let me explain myself.” The camera cuts to the entrance way, but nothing happens. Roode waits a moment, then lifts the mic again. Roode: “That's okay, James. I wouldn't trust me, either if I were you. You have no reason to, not right now. But I'm going to earn that trust back, Cowboy. Just know, I've got your back. Whether its against Bad Influence, or anyone else in Impact Wrestling. I will prove myself to you. Just watch this next match against Kaz.” Rating: 83% Kaz vs. Bobby RoodeKaz comes to the ring, as always, with Christopher Daniels. Kaz and Roode go toe-to-toe for a few minutes, trading offensive maneuvers. But just a few moments into the match, When Roode has the upper hand, Daniels jumps in the ring and broadsides Roode. Bad Influence double-team Roode, when James Storm runs in, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Roode and Storm dispatch Bad Influence from the ring. Roode and Storm then go face-to-face. Roode extends his hand to Storm, but Storm bails from the ring. The camera is on Storm going up the aisle way, and we hear him yell “now, we're even!” before he backs through the curtain. WINNER (via DQ through Interference): Bobby Roode Rating: 80% World Tag Team Championship Tournament – Block AWrestling's Greatest Tag Team (4 points) vs. Jay Lethal & Samoa Joe (0 points)Lethal and Joe are obviously not on the same page, right from their entrance. Lethal looks desperate and Joe looks disgusted. The match is long, and the story is every time Joe is in he gains the advantage, then tags out to Lethal who loses the advantage. It is obvious Lethal is frustrated with himself, and Joe is pissed at Lethal. Every time WGTT re-gains the advantage, the camera cuts to a disgusted-looking Samoa Joe in the corner. Charlie Haas is able to lock the Haas of Pain on Lethal, who is desperately reaching for Joe to save him. Joe shakes his head, jumps to the floor and leaves, not looking back. Lethal is forced to tap, giving the victory and the points to Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. The bigger story is what's the deal with Joe and Lethal? Tenay and Tazz debate as we go to break. WINNER: Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team Rating: 82% We are at the announce desk, when all of a sudden a “WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!” fills the arena. The familiar strains of “Also Sprach Zarathustra fill the arena, as the legendary Ric Flair makes his grand entrance in a suit only the Nature Boy could wear. He gets in the ring and takes a spin, soaking in the adulation of the audience. Flair takes the microphone. Flair: “WOOOOOOOOOOOO! Every time I come out here, I get nothing but love from you guys, and I thank you for that. I have done it all in this ring! 16-time world champion! Leader of the most legendary group of men to EVER grace God's green earth, the Four Horsemen! The proprietor of Space Mountain.” Flair points to a lovely young woman in the front row. “That's right, baby. Space Mountain is still up and running. Even you can get a ride. WOOOOOOOOOO!” Flair hits the ropes and does his signature strut. “And now the Board of Directors has asked me, the Nature Boy, to be their representative. My first act of duty is to come here to officially announce the main event for Turning Point. On February the 17th, the World Heavyweight Champion, Austin Aries, will defend the Impact Wrestling World Championship against the newly-named number one contender, Bully Ray! WOOOOOOOOOO!” Rating: 74% MAIN EVENTAustin Aries & vs. Bully Ray & Kurt AngleRay and Angle make their entrances before we go to break. We come back for the entrance of the World Champion, Austin Aries, to a rousing applause. Aries stands on the outside of the ring, as we all anticipate the arrival of his mystery partner, when we hear ROB VAN DAM! THE WHOLE F'N SHOW! The crowd goes ballistic as RVD makes his entrance. The match is a brawl to start. Aries goes right after Bully Ray, and RVD after Angle. All four men brawl in the ring, with RVD and Aries hitting stereo dropkicks, sending Bully and Angle to the outside. Aries hits a dive through the ropes onto Angle, followed by RVD hitting a front-flip senton over the ropes onto Bully Ray. Things calm down as Aries moves Angle back to the ring and maintains his advantage before tagging in RVD. Angle is able to reverse and tags in Bully Ray. Bully beats on RVD, all the while yelling at Aries that “this will be you!” and “yours is coming!” RVD is able to reverse Bully and nail a spin kick, and tag in Aries. Aries is a house of fire, sending Bully to the outside then dropkicking Angle off the apron. Aries goes after Bully, who is ready, and the two brawl over the barricade and into the crowd. Meanwhile, RVD grabs a chair and hits a Van Daminator on Angle on the outside. The referee calls for the bell, and Jeremy Borash announces the official decision as a double-disqualification. All four men continue to brawl as the crowd goes crazy and Tenay goes equally nuts, and we go off the air. WINNER: No Decision (Double-disqualification) Rating: 82% OVERALL RATING: 80% Impact got a 4.88 rating. Attendance was 4,008.
