So... I've been away from EWR and writing for a while. Got a new computer, lost a couple shows worth of stuff from my ECCW. I might revisit from where it's at when I load it up. But for now, something new.Backstory: It's April 1, 2014, and a brief, concise, memo came out. It stated simply that WWE is "splitting" NXT off into it's own, separately run company. But there's a catch: NXT is still the WWE's developmental company. The rules they gave me to run the company: 1) Any wrestler that gets to the point that they'd be a Midcarder (Overness of 70), they will be moved to WWE (Which I will do by using Arsenic) the Monday after they reach that level. 2) All wrestlers MUST be signed to a Written Contract upon being hired. 3) All wrestlers hired MUST be re-named so WWE can trademark their name. 4) Risk level MUST mirror WWE's (66% to start) 5) NXT MUST have a Women's Division What do I get with NXT: They will start with every wrestler that is on a Developmental Contract for WWE in the April 2014 data package (Found Here)They will be a "Cult" company with Public Image at 20%, starting with $50 million. NXT retains William Regal, Jason Albert and Alex Riley as Non-Wrestlers with Announcer ability. A Training Camp and Developmental Territory, as WWE has handed all development duties to NXT. 1 TV show, still to be aired on WWE Network (listed as on Hulu) on Thursday for an Early Evening time slot. 0 Events (which I will be booking immediately) 3 titles, the NXT Heavyweight, NXT Women's and NXT Tag Team Roster forthcoming

This is something that I can get behind, man. I really enjoyed your take on Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, seeing as that is an independent company that I follow in real life. I don't doubt that you'll pull off some amazing stuff for NXT, so please post some more as soon as you can.

Also, since when I built the company and such, I forgot to assign the titles, titles will start vacant.

Still very pumped about this, Dan O'Mac! I would love to get a crack at the data that you're using for this game, man. Part of me would love to see a feud between Solomon Crowe and William Regal, I could just see them beating the living daylights out of one another! I would also love to see Sara Del Rey being kind of like this generation's Chyna, where she takes on whomever, whether they are male or female.
Keep it up, Kyle

ANNOUNCEMENT:
To celebrate the first show solely under the NXT banner, a special "super" episode of NXT has been scheduled for April 3rd, 2014. On the show, all titles will be awarded, including the NXT Heavyweight Championship in a match between former champions Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas.
The NXT Women's Title will be contested in a rematch of the finals that saw Paige claim the title against Emma. Will we see the same result, with Paige beating Emma? Or with the Australian dancer be the second Diva to hold the title?
And new GM William Regal has announced that the Tag Titles will be awarded, but a second team has yet to step forth to challenge former champions, The Ascension.
Also in action: Adam Rose, Corey Graves, Kalisto, Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze and more!

Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas in action on the first show, as well as Paige and Emma? Count me in! Those will definitely be your show-stealers, in my opinion. I would love to see The Briscoe Brothers in NXT, as I think they could really fit the mold there, though I would also like to see Kevin Steen. I think it'd be great if you had Steen being the snobby French-Canadian, it would be a change, but one that could possibly work wonders. I mean, who else could you bring in? Adam Cole? Jimmy Jacobs? Michael Elgin? The possibilities are endless with NXT, so keep it up!

I actually set the company up the way I did so I couldn't just raid ROH. Because I'm starting with a company at 20% public image as a Cult, I can't steal from ROH (or most painfully for my women's division, SHIMMER). As well as my rule that they must be promoted to the main roster once they reach 70 overness so I don't want to hire a bunch of people that are in the 60s, since I can't count on them to be around long enough to build around.

Oh, I totally agree with that rule! I was just saying, there are a bunch of people that would be awesome in NXT. One team, I would love to see would be Artemis Spencer and Tony Baroni from ECCW, as they (especially Artemis) would fit right in with the likes of Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, etc.

NXT Showdown -- 4/3/14
As announced, NXT has become it's own entity, and they opened things off with their first "larger" show.
--Segment 0-- The show opens with a battle between masked luchadore, Kalisto, and the leader of the Exotic Express, Adam Rose. This was a decent match, and you could see two things: Kalisto is the better wrestler, but Rose is the better character. I mean, Rose started with an entrance with a full blown party, which led to some crowd surfing. After that, Rose wrestled a good, but not great match, and finished it with the Party Foul and gains the three. After the match, Rose's entourage comes back out, and Kalisto joins them in some dancing. Winner: Adam Rose by pin following a Party Foul Crowd Reaction: 42% Match Quality: 69% Overall Rating: 55% Adam Rose gained overness from this match.
Nothing too spectacular here. Rose got a solid win and looked good doing it.
--Segment 1-- The show then cuts to the back in an office, showing a desk with a name plate that just says "Commissioner" on it. The camera pans up to show... William F'n Regal. Awesome! Before we can get any farther, two men walk in, The Ascencion, Konnor and Viktor. Regal then hands them the belts, and tells them how even though he doesn't like them, they get results, and no other Tag Teams have stepped up, making The Ascension the Tag Team Champs. Overall Rating: 67% Viktor gained overness from this match, Konnor gained overness from this match
I suppose they had to do something when they only have the one tag team. We'll have to wait and see what can be done about that.
--Segment 2-- Breeze comes out with his patented "selfie" intro, complete with duck face, furry boots and all. Robbie Brookside is already in the ring. And this match is a squash, with Breeze winning by pin following a Beauty Shot. After the match, Brookside offers a handshake the Tyler Breeze, who looks at it incrediously, and backs away, horrified by the idea of said handshake. Winner: Tyler Breeze by pin following a Beauty Shot Crowd Reaction: 40% Match Quality: 72% Overall Rating: 56%
This was a squash match, plain and simple. Tyler Breeze plays the conceited asshole well.
--Segment 3-- Next we have Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger in the ring, both clearly upset. They go on to point out that William Regal just didn't put them in a match with The Ascencion because they had no other tag teams. Jordan and Dillinger then go on to say that now The Ascencion does have some opponents and that they want to face The Ascencion at the next big event. The Ascencion comes up and climbs into the ring. Instead of answering, The Ascencion just demolishes Jordan and Dillinger. Overall Rating: 54% Tye Dillinger gained overness from this segment, Jason Jordan gained overness from this segment
And it appears we now have a second tag team. Granted, they got annihilated by The Ascencion, so who really knows
--Segment 4-- They follow up the Tag Team brawl with the Women's Title match between Paige and Emma. And this one is a great back and forth match, but alas, comes without a finish as the debuting Zoe Garcia (formerly known as Karlee Perez) comes in and takes both of them out, standing over the laid out Paige and Emma. Winner: No winner due to interference from Zoe Garcia Crowd Reaction: I forgot to document this Match Quality: This too Overall Rating: 52% The NXT Women's title has lost image
Paige and Emma didn't have as good a match as the have had, but it was still a good match. The finish means we have a solid heel woman on the roster.
--Segment 5-- We come back from a break, and backstage interviewer Renee Young is with Zoe Garcia. Zoe introduces herself as NXT's new queen. She promptly points out that she is better than Paige and Emma (at least in her mind). And... the generic interview is over. Overall Rating: 68% Zoe Garcia gained overness from this segment
And they immediately did what they had to in order to give us a chance to get to know the new Zoe Garcia better.
--Segment 6-- Following the interview, Corey Graves and Sami Zayn go at it. What this match did well: most everything. Graves and Zayn go back and forth, up until the screen comes on with a staticky face on it, and a man comes out tapping on a tablet before basically telling Sami Zayn that he's not that good through a voice modulator. This just confuses Zayn, who starts yelling at the mystery man. However, Corey Graves takes advantage of this and rolls up Sami Zayn for the win. Following this, the mystery man laughs and goes backstage. Winner: Corey Graves by pin via roll up Crowd Reaction: 61% Match Quality: 84% Overall Rating: 72% Corey Graves gained overness from this match
A man shrouded in mystery is distracting Sami Zayn. I hope it's Papa Shango. A good match, probably would've been better with a clean finish.
--Segment 7-- The scene cuts backstage for an interview, as Alexander Rusev is backstage with his manager, Lana. She doesn't say a lot, and it can be boiled down to her hyping up Alexander Rusev as a monster. Overall Rating: 48% Lana gained overness from this segment
Blech. Lana is not good on the mic.
--Segment 8-- The main event of the night is for the NXT Heavyweight title, as former champions Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas meet up. And Adrian and Bo have a great back and forth match, and despite me being a Boliever, Neville hits the Red Arrow and walks away with the win as the new NXT champion. Neville immediately gets his belt and celebrates. Winner: Adrian Neville by pin following a Red Arrow Crowd Reaction: 60% Match Quality: 74% Overall Rating: 67% The NXT Heavyweight Title has lost image
So Adrian Neville is our champion again following a good match. I'm curious to see where they go with the belt from here though.
Overall Show Rating: 62%
------------------------------- Show Notes/E-Mails Showdown was attended by 1687 people! We made $50610 from ticket sales.

4/5/14 - INCIDENT Several other wrestlers have complained about the recent bad attitude of Renee Young! She has been suspended for 1 month

Since I'm hiring people and changing their names, following a re-named person's debut, you'll get a "website article" regarding it, so you're aware who these people are.
--------------------------------------
Last Night, NXT Wrestling hosted their first show under a solo banner, and we saw one new wrestler debut when Zoe Garcia caused a no contest in the NXT Women's Title match. It has been confirmed that Zoe Garcia is the former Maxine, freshly resigned and re-branded. We know what kind of talent she brings to the table, apparently NXT is hoping a new gimmick will help her out.

I was all in, suspension of disbelief, liking the concept ...
And then Renee Young gets suspended.
Any world where Renee is a troublemaker and gets suspended is truly the Darkest Timeline.

NXT on WWE Network -- 4/10/14
And we kick off the show with the announcers for NXT, Gavin Loudspeaker and Jason Albert. Gavin mentions that tonight we will see the debut of FOUR new female wrestlers, the in-ring debut of Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger, and both Mason Ryan and Sami Zayn will be in action. They then kick it over to the ring for the opening match.
--Segment 1-- The ring announcers introduce us to the competitors, Natasha Daniels, the dark-haired Canadian face, Marie Kengington, the American "bitch", Betty Lou Summers, the larger woman dressed straight out of Wal-Mart, and the one and only Sara Del Rey. And this one is a showcase of all four women. Del Rey shows off why she is widely considered the best female wrestler. Daniels and Kensington working well with everyone. And Betty Lou using sheer size and brawling to her advantage. The end comes in a flurry of finishers, as Daniels eats a Kensington Necktie from Kensington, who then takes a Whiskey Lullaby from Betty Lou, who promptly plants Summers with a Royal Butterfly for an uncontested three count. Winner: Sara Del Rey by pin on Betty Lou Summers after a Royal Butterfly Crowd Reaction: 49% Match Quality: 66% Overall Rating: 57%
A good opener. All four women looked pretty good in the ring, and seeing Sara Del Rey in the ring just made my night.
--Segment 2-- The shot cuts to the back, showing the Adam Rose party. Rose starts by welcoming us to the Exotic Express, and then starts describing what's going on at the party. He introduces us to Ray Quinn, his best friend "since forever", his DJ, Jack O. Lantern, who is wearing a black mask with a "scary" pumpkin face on it, and his "future ex-girlfriend", Amy Moore. Rose then says "Because it's party time, all the time" and they then show the entire party (with the shot centered on Rose and the three people he introduced) singing Rose's theme song. Overall Rating: 63% Ray Quinn gained overness from this segment. Adam Rose gained overness from this segment.
A fun segment. You'd have to assume that there's a reason they had Adam Rose introduce Quinn, Lantern and Moore. I'm also hoping he starts introducing random other people, like "dentist", "barber", and "South African Big Game Hunter".
--Segment 3-- We then go to the ring where Scott Dawson and Shaun Rickers are already there. We then get the introduction of Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger. And I'd go into this one furthere, but it's just a squash that ends following Dillinger hitting a Running Clutch DVD on Rickers and getting the pin. Following the match, Jordan and Dillinger start working the crowd. This however is short-lived, as The Ascension comes out and annihilates both of them, silently and efficiently beating down Jordan and Dillinger. They then stand over the beaten bodies until the camera fades to commercial, Winner: Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger by pin following a Dillingers Running Clutch DVD on Shaun Rickers. Crowd Reaction: 40% Match Quality: 71% Overall Rating: 55%
The crowd just wasn't into this one, but it was a good match. Looks like we're building for a Jordan/Dillinger versus The Ascencion match.
--Segment 4-- We then get a second women's match, as Sasha Banks takes on Paige. Sasha, the self-proclaimed boss, puts up a valiant effort in matching Paige's skills, but it's clear she's just not as talented. After Paige dominates much of the match, Zoe Garcia makes her way down the ramp and onto the apron, distracting Paige long enough for Sasha to get the roll up win. Following that, Zoe gets in the ring and starts beating on Paige until Emma runs in for the save, chasing Zoe off. Emma offers a handshake to Paige, who instead shoves Emma off and stalks away carrying her title. Winner: Sasha Banks by pin after a roll up Crowd Reaction: 58% Match Quality: 56% Overall Rating: 57% Sasha Banks gained overness from this segment.
So it looks like a three way with the women is coming. Which should actually be pretty solid, as they are all pretty decent.
--Segment 5-- We next go to the back stage, where we're in William Regal's office. In comes Alexander Rusev and his agent, Lana. Lana goes on to demand that Alexander Rusev get a match. Regal tells her that Rusev will face Mr. Hype, Mojo Rawley. Overall Rating: 60% William Regal lost overness from this segment, Rusev gained overness from this segment.
A nice little segment that sets something up for next week.
--Segment 6-- Camacho over Mason Ryan. That pretty much sums it up. Neither is very GOOD, per se, but they had a solid brawl. Camacho hit a Samoan Drop for the win. He then sauntered back up the ramp. Of note: Camacho appears to be a heel, and a pimp. An evil pimp? Color me interested! Winner: Camacho by pin following a Samoan Drop Crowd Reaction: 58% Match Quality: 72% Overall Rating: 65% Camacho gained overness from this segment
A solid brawl, but who cares? CAMACHO IS AN EVIL PIMP!
--Segment 7-- So then we get CJ Parker in the ring. He gets a mic and starts immediately ripping into Adam Rose. Why? Because Adam Rose's Exotic Express are all litterers. Parker cites that he knows because "Rose uses res Solo cups" and you never see a trash can, much less a recycling bin on the Exotic Express. Overall Rating: 58% CJ Parker gained overness from this segment, CJ Parker debuted new gimmick (Obnoxious)
So it appears that CJ Parker has an issue with Adam Rose. Hooray for feuds between Hippies and Ravers!
--Segment 8-- In the main event, we get Sami Zayn taking on Kalisto one-on-one. This is a great back and forth match, with neither face getting the upper hand... until Zayn hits the Springboard Tornado DDT! He goes for the pin when the sound of static is heard and the screen shows a facial outline in the static. I distorted voice is then heard just saying "you're mine, Zayn". Kalisto takes advantage of the distraction that occurs with a Hara-Kiri for a pin. After the match, Zayn looks visibly frustrated, complaining to the ref as Kalisto gets to the back. Winner: Kalisto over Sami Zayn by pin following a Hara-Kiri Crowd Reaction: 49% Match Quality: 85% Overall Rating: 67% Sami Zayn lost overness from this segment, Kalisto gained overness from this segment.
A good main event, as Sami again gets distracted by the mystery person. I'm curious as to who it might be, in fact.
Overall Show Rating: 61%
---------------------------------------
--E-Mails-- We got a 0.93 rating for 'NXT on WWE Network'! The attendance level was 351 people. We made $7020 from ticket sales.
Bo Dallas - Sami Zayn would be a great opponent for me, how about putting us together in some matches?
Mason Ryan and Camacho work pretty well together due to their similar styles.
-----------------------------------------
--INCIDENT-- Adrian Neville never appeared at a big photo shoot we had organised for him! He has been suspended for 1 month

Last night, NXT had it's first solo show on the WWE Network, and SEVEN new faces debuted. Here's the skinny.
Natasha Daniels: The former Sarita from TNA
Sara Del Rey: The incomparable Sara Del Rey of ROH (and many other's) fame. Was a trainer, and looks to also be a wrestler now.
Marie Kensington: The former Annie Social, formerly of SHIMMER and WSU.
Betty Lou Summers: The former Mickie Knuckles, formerly of IWA-MS, Chikara, CZW and TNA.
Ray Quinn: The former Christin Able who was signed away from AAW
Jack O. Lantern: The Exotic Express needed a DJ, and the Exotic Express comes through for the former Frightmare.
Amy Moore: She was Kellie Skater of SHIMMER, previously she was in SHIMMER.
