Thinking of starting a new diary with a current data pack. The diary as is has a lot of baggage making the environment difficult, lots of talent that isn't in the game I'd like to use, etc. Just would be nice to have a clean slate and new toys to play with, you know?
Only question: what promotion do I start with?
I'm thinking of a few: WWE, TNA, CZW or ROH.
WWE: on the plus side, I could right some recent wrongs, make the product a lot better. On the downside, not a lot of challenge in starting at the top.
TNA: needs a drastic overhaul. Good roster, indie-friendly. On the downside, again, lots of infrastructure makes it somewhat easy.
ROH: Downside, I've done it already. Upside, a decent roster, and a decent starting poisition.
CZW: A true challenge. Downside, talent base is hit and miss. Will never be able to replicate CZW's true spirit.
Thoughts?
Jed Shaffer ~Yes, I'd do a "wrap-up" post for the current diary of where it was headed.

What about PWG? Gives you the difference from ROH, without the lack of CZW spirit?

Or maybe GFW if you want a totally fresh start? Or CHIKARA?
Out of the options, TNA but I'd say do whichever one excites you the most.
Or would could tag team WWE, you take Raw/ME I take SD and turn NXT into Heat or something...

PWG has a certain style and sense of humor I can't duplicate. And I don't, honestly, much care for their roster.
Chikara, strangely, isn't in the data pack I downloaded. While it's dated August 2014, I am assuming it was developed during the Chikara layoff. And I could NEVER get close to their bizarre, comic-book-style booking. And GFW isn't in the pack either.
I think I'm leaning towards TNA right now. More interesting roster that I can work with, less gutting I have to do ... or less people I don't have to work around *coughCenacoughOrtoncoughBigShowcoughKanecough*.
Jed Shaffer ~I'd be down for the split idea if I was remotely reliable as far as a schedule goes.

Plus TNA is a company where anyone is believable. I mean, if Steve Austin came out, I can see that, but I can also see Paige Turner or me walking out.
...
I presume I'm not there.
And what's wrong with Kane?

No, and with how comprehensive this data pack is, your omission surprised me.
Kane's just a stale character taking up space on the roster. All the respect for everything he's given in the company, and he deserves a front office/trainer/producer position ... but at this point, he helps the bottleneck at the top by not being credible enough to elevate and too much tenure to demote.
Jed Shaffer ~Backyard. Yeah, right. I'm not THAT ambitious.

Well having never wrestled outside Australia, I'm still too obscure as a worker.
Of course, I did work out my (somewhat overstated) stats at some point if you wanted to toss me in there and see what sort of crazy career I have.

Damn you, I was just restarting my TNA Diary! Maybe I'll try my hand at ROH. And something besides easy.
