I wanted to start a thread asking the stats of the wrestler you use. Myself, I never hire anyone who doesn't have a stat under 70. Is that a bad idea?

Usually I look for someone who has similar stats with someone already on my roster. If the overness is right, I gotta feud!
Other than that I try to get some guys that are have big numbers all across the board. Except for maybe charisma and overness. Then just let them get over based on how they do in matches. See, Mutoh for the first part (feuded with Jericho), and the Briscoes for the second part. All this took place within my previous TNA game.

Depends on what I'm looking for, really. If I want someone for my developmental, the stats aren't as important, as I know they'll improve. If it's a hired-to-main-roster talent, a 70+ in at least one of the three in-ring categories is necessary to fit in.
Jed Shaffer ~In my last game, I had Monty Brown in developmental. He had 40's/50's to start. He came out with all 90's. No kidding.

In my PWA (custom fed) game, I sign all my development guys on open contracts. That way, when they get done developing, I can decide whether I want to sign them to a written contract or not.
Developmental workers must be under the age of 29 (preferably 27) and need to have at least 25 Speed, 42 Technical. I figure my wrestlers need to be faster than the Undertaker and should out-wrestle John Cena. I'd like for their Charisma to top 70, but if not, I'll saddle them with a manager.
