Okay 2 weeks ago I had my best show yet in my TNA game (got an overall of 90). Anyways the main event was the culmination of Christopher Daniels vs AJ Styles in an Iron Man match for the TNA World Title. I had it in my head all along that Styles was going to win but for some reason I decided to switch at the last second and chose Daniels to win his first TNA World Title. Anyway all goes well feud ends and the next day I start a new feud between CM Punk and Daniels which starts with 100 overness! Great I think, I have them Main Event the next tv show in a 1 on 1 match with Daniels losing by DQ, and the match gets 99, 100, 100. Again this is awesome, however I go to the next day and guess what...
'View Incident'
Hoping that Ron Killings had gone back to rehab or Johnny Jeter had slated the company (again), I click on it and get this....
'Christopher Daniels has sustained an injury'
Oh crap, in my confused state I naively think okay hopefully he's only out a month and I'll keep the feud open, nope he's out 7 months with a broken freakin' leg! God damn you EWR playing with my emotions like this!!!
Anyway, anything like this happened to any of you?

In my current game, before I started my diary here, I was ready to end a Tyler Black/Chuck Taylor feud over my main belt (only one at the time - Tyler Black was champion). I was going to give Chuck Taylor the belt, and push him, but about a week before I was going to give him the belt, he gets hurt. Now, I really can't give Taylor the belt because he has something like a 60 overness, with Black (who is my current champ) having high-80's. Really, since then I haven't done anything with Chuck Taylor. Maybe he shouldn't have gotten hurt...

It's times like that when I wonder if the game is rigged to do that. Putting wrestlers in a feud seems to make them more susceptible to injury.
That, or it could be an amazing coincidence.

Mick foley got injured right before my last PPV where he was due to have a blow off match as Vince's tag team partner in there feud against Steve Austin and Undertaker..
I decided to use Arsenic to avoid this as the match had been blighted by injury only a moth before hand.

Two big ones for me ... In an old ECW game, I was doing a Rhino vs. Mick Foley feud, where Foley was the face Commissioner, and Rhino was being how Rhino was back in ECW. I was going to have Rhino toss Foley off the Cell, which would make Foley turn into Cactus Jack, building to the blowoff. Of course, Mick got injured on the Cell toss ... for 16 months. And just recently, in my ROH game, I had just started a Colt Cabana vs. Bryan Danielson feud that was one of three big feuds in the main event at the time. Whoops, Cabana goes out with a 16 month injury from a VIEW INCIDENT. Totally smurfed up my main event plans ... but I ended up working around it into something even cooler, which you should be reading. Now, I can only hope and pray my champ, Chris Hero, and the guy who will take it off him stay healthy through the duration. Jed Shaffer ~The computer seems to like to stick me with 16 month injuries. Stupid computer.
