Took me a few days, but I finally got around to reading this. Good stuff! I really liked the Mitchell promo to start off the first show, and im a fan of the Devils duo as a team. Probably my favorite act in this diary.
Also, "JEFF JARRETT (wearing a cowboy hat), VINCE RUSSO (wearing a cowboy hat) and TITO ORTIZ (not wearing a cowboy hat)" cracked me up.

Much appreciated! I am going to restart the scenario tonight (still keeping with TNA and much of what you've read) just because I had forgotten about the open contract/Japan tour scenarios and it messes with a few of my major angles. Fear not though, the Devil's Duo remains a part of my story.

OK, here we go. If you've been reading, disregard ANY of the previous diary entries. I will still be doing the retro TNA diary, however my prior game got shaken up in short time due to open contracts and Japan dates. I will be running mostly the same angles, but have come up with some tweaks along the way. Some bullet points: -The backstory remains the same, no changes there. -I did not fire Chris Harris and James Storm prior to the first show. They are still on the active roster. -I set the clock back so the game is moving along in 2004 time. -Since Harris and Storm are still on my roster, the tag titles will not be held up. The game begins with them as the tag team champions. And now, onto the show! TNA on PPV Before the show starts, the Hardcore Legend himself, TERRY FUNK, is introduced to the crowd. Tonight, the NWA would like to honor the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and have invited him as their special guest. Funk puts over the NWA-TNA roster and thanks the crowd for their warm welcome, then takes a seat at ringside to watch the action. OVERALL RATING 70%NWA X TITLE: CHRIS SABIN (c) vs. BRYAN DANIELSON The first injection of new blood into NWA-TNA happens in the very first match, as rising star Bryan Danielson makes his debut against the X Division Champion Sabin. Other than a brief flurry and an attempted pinfall on the American Dragon, Sabin just can't keep up and gets overwhelmed in quick fashion, tapping out to Cattle Mutilation and giving us a brand new X Division Champion to kick off what has promised to be the new and improved NWA-TNA. * 1/4 Match Quality: 71% Crowd Reaction: 53% OVERALL RATING: 62%
The NWA X Title has lost image.Backstage, a whistle blows loudly as BILL ALFONSO pops up on the screen, standing between two young men warming up for the next match. These two young men, Mark and Jay Briscoe, are here to show the world that they are the real deal. Legit athletes. These boys turned down football scholarships to Georgetown to get this shot, and they're not going to waste it. The Briscoe Brothers are here in TNA, and when you hear that whistle blow, it means they're comin' for your ass. OVERALL RATING: 73% BRISCOE BROTHERS (Jay and Mark) vs. BACKSEAT BOYZ (Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere) The debut for both teams, and all four men come out to impress. While the crowd wasn't too familiar with the newcomers, they left a huge impression, putting on a high impact wrestling clinic that had the Asylum rocking! Unfortunately for Alfonso, his boys came out on the losing end, when Acid used brass knuckles to get a tainted win in an otherwise hard fought and cleanly fought contest. Unfortunately for the Backseats, their victory celebration was short lived, as the Briscoes got in a few fists of their own to sending Acid and Kashmere scurrying back to the dressing room. It seems like a rivalry has formed between these two new teams! ****Match Quality: 98% Crowd Reaction: 57% OVERALL RATING: 77%
Backstage, VINCE RUSSO is ranting and raving to anyone who will listen, and grabs the camera man. Looking straight into the camera, Russo goes on a tirade. "You want to clean house, Jerry Jarrett? You just wait and see what happens to your precious TNA. You just wait." A hard hitting match that saw AMW unable to handle the onslaught from the men from the land of the Rising Sun, as Chris Harris walked into a superkick and a brutal lariat from Kojima that saw him on the wrong end of the 1-2-3! OVERALL RATING: 75% NWA WORLD TITLE: AJ STYLES (c) vs. JERRY LYNN Another match that had the crowd on their feet, as these familiar rivals do battle once again, this time with the most prestigious title of all on the line. An Even Steven match if there ever was one. Jerry Lynn eventually gained the advantage, nailing AJ with a boot as he charged Lynn in the corner, and followed up with a neckbreaker and a face crusher. Just as Lynn was setting up for the Cradle Piledriver the bell sounded, as the 20 minute time limit expired. The referee rules this match a draw to Lynn's disappointment, but AJ rolls out of the ring and grabs his title, hugging it and clutching it to his chest. He gets back into the ring and plays to the crowd, and Lynn decides to be the better man and offer a handshake. AJ looks at him, and mouths "are you serious"? AJ holds up the title, pointing to it, and says "THIS IS MINE, AND YOU'RE A LOSER" before storming off, leaving Lynn glaring at him from the ring. ***1/2

With two title changes and a great World Title match behind us, Mike Tenay gets into the ring and calls Terry Funk into it. Tenay runs down Terry's list of accomplishments, only to be interrupted by the music of America's Most Wanted. James Storm shouts "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" at Tenay and Funk. Him and Harris, they've been here since the beginning. They made their mark by coming out every night, busting their ass, breaking their bones, bleeding all over this ring...and for what!? So that they can get some tag team from Japan thrown at them, a team they've never faced and had no time to prepare for? So that a guy like Terry Funk, who should have retired at LEAST ten years ago can take up their airtime? Funk responds in kind, saying they had a rough night and they can all go out drinking, get into a few bar fights, and sleep it off. Storm refuses, saying that Funk might have the people's respect, but not AMW's. Funk steps up, gets in the Cowboy's face, and says that he has the respect of the people, and AMW might have had a rough night, and that if they want respect, they need to pick themselves up, dust themselves off, do what they've got to do, fight who they've got to fight, and EARN IT. Harris chimes in and says they're tired of trying to earn things, so now they're just going to take what they want...and the first thing on that list? "Your head!" With that, AMW pounce on Terry Funk, beating him down! Harris shoves Tenay down, as the crowd boos wildly. Funk tries to put up a fight, but the two on one assault is too much, and AMW level the former World Champion with a Death Sentence, standing above his fallen body to end the show. Surprisingly, WWE didn't release Paul London like they usually do...so that might throw any Hooligans plans out the window for now! TNA on PPV Christopher Daniels heads out to the ring to greet us to this week's edition of TNA on PPV. It's obvious that Chris Sabin couldn't cut the mustard as the X Division Champion, but Daniels doesn't think Bryan Danielson is any better. So, Mister American Dragon, what say you come out here and enjoy a quick fall from grace, courtesy of the Fallen Angel? OVERALL RATING: 71%NWA X TITLE: Bryan Danielson (c) vs. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS Excellent showcase for the new champion and the former X Division Champion, as Danielson refused to be intimidated by Daniels condescending attitude towards him. Tenay mentions that both men have crossed paths elsewhere, mentioning both Ring of Honor and New Japan by name, and how Daniels seems resentful of Danielson's success. Daniels is all attitude and ability in this contest, at one point hitting a legdrop to the back of the head and then mockingly slapping the back of American Dragon's head...but when he pulls him up he's snapped over with a butterfly suplex, which Danielson transitions into the Cattle Mutilation! Daniels taps as quickly as the hold is applied, and rolls out of the ring. As Danielson's music plays, he's handed the belt by the referee...and then FLOORED with a chairshot to the back from Daniels! The Fallen Angel stands over the fallen champion, basking in the crowds boos. ***1/2

TNA on PPV The scene opens up to chaos on this week's edition of TNA on PPV, as JEFF JARRETT is found on the floor backstage. Workers surround Jarrett, only parting ways as the paramedics get to him. Jarrett is groggy and can only mutter incomprehensible words to the medics as they try to figure out what happened to him, and more importantly, who did it. 82%BRIAN KENDRICK vs. JASON JETTAn inset promo hypes Kendrick as "no joke", having jumped from the "three ring circus in Stamford" to show the world who the real Brian Kendrick is. His opponent tonight is another man overlooked for so long but now looking to get serious...the former EZ Money. Utilizing the Jason Jett moniker that he utilized during the last days of WCW, Jett proves to be a worthy opponent for the motivated Kendrick. Midway through the match, MICHAEL SHANE comes out to view the match, and Tenay mentions that Shane and Kendrick both went through the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy. However, that relationship apparently means nothing to Shane, as he takes the timekeeper's chair and cracks it into Kendrick's back as he bounces off the ropes! Kendrick staggers into Jett, and he's hit with the Easy Money (a nod to Jett's former ring name) release suplex, leaving him down and out for the pin! Now it's INJURY! time, as Masato Tanka goes down to an eye injury for the next two months. TNA on PPV The PPV opens up to MIKE TENAY in the ring. Tenay discusses the anarchy that's been going on in the NWA-TNA recently, and that the word came from above that TNA needed a "troubleshooter", someone to watch over things every week and make sure they ran smoothly. Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted have turned their backs on the company that they had a major hand in helping to evolve, and now they want to turn it into their own personal playground? There might be someone who has something to say about it... "THE FRANCHISE" SHANE DOUGLAS! The crowd pops, and Tenay shakes the hand of the former ECW and (technically) NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Douglas takes the mic and lays down the law. Ten years ago, he won the NWA World Heavyweight Title, and he threw it down to usher in an era of extreme. Now he stands in an NWA ring as the man in charge, and it's because Jerry Jarrett and the NWA Board of Directors finally understand what he was trying to do. This business is evolving, and it needs to evolve in order to survive, and NWA-TNA IS the evolution of professional wrestling. We have men like the Briscoe Brothers and the Backseat Boyz reinventing tag team wrestling. We have a man like Brian Kendrick, treated like a second class citizen "up north", showing how skilled he truly is. And we have part of the NWA's legacy, its lifeblood, in a legend like Terry Funk to lead the locker room. Of course, this business is not without controversy (and Shane would know), because recently Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted have decided that they could run rampant, without reprimand. That changes TONIGHT. Now, unfortunately, Masato Tanaka was injured in Japan and won't be cleared to compete for a few months, and that left tonight's tag team title match in jeopardy...until Douglas had a brainstorm. If he knows Terry Funk the way he does, he knows Funk won't stop until he has his hands on AMW and Jarrett for their ambush, so he's going to let him do it the right way. Tonight, America's Most Wanted WILL get their World Tag Team Title shot...against Satoshi Kojima and...TERRY FUNK! 86%. Shane Douglas gained overness from this segment.ACE STEEL vs. KID KASH The return of both men to the TNA ranks sees Ace Steel run circles around the veteran Kash, who seems taken aback by Steel's ability to hang with him in the ring. Funk shakes Shane's hand, and says that they've never seen eye to eye, but Funk owes Shane one. Douglas responds that Funk reigned supreme over the most controversial locker room in wrestling history when they were in Philadelphia, and for that, he has Shane's respect. Douglas says that in this business, the minute you make a name for yourself, someone is ready to jump on you and make their name at your expense. Douglas wants Funk to show AMW that sometimes in order to make your name, you have to take a beating as well as give one. OVERALL RATING 76%BRIAN KENDRICK and THE BRISCOE BROTHERS vs. MICHAEL SHANE and THE BACKSEAT BOYZ Worlds collide when the ongoing rivalry between the Briscoes and the BSB add newcomer Brian Kendrick and the cocky Michael Shane to the mix. Shane manages to stay out of the ring when Kendrick is in the ring, and in fact the two men never touch due to Shane's cowardice. TNA on PPV SHANE DOUGLAS, the new TNA Troubleshooter, welcomes us to this weeks show, and goes over what we've seen recently, and what we'll see tonight. First, he congratulates America's Most Wanted on regaining the NWA World Tag Team Titles, despite Douglas throwing them a curveball and having Terry Funk defend the title on behalf of Mastao Tanaka last week. Secondly, he has words for Jeff Jarrett, and his recent run-ins on behalf of AMW. Douglas isn't going to let AMW get a stronghold on the tag team division, and tonight he kills two birds with one stone, as two men showed up demanding vengeance on behalf of The Funker. All the high flying and theatrics you can expect from these men kicks the show off with excitement, and it's Shocker who proves to be the better man this evening. Shocker exits, slapping hands on the way to the locker room, while Psychosis goes nuts, pulling his own hair and screaming at no one in particular. **1/4 MATCH QUALITY: 80% CROWD REACTION: 56% OVERALL RATING: 68%

The two men are familiar with each other due to having trained together, and it takes a rollup and a handful of tights to keep Kendrick down! Shane immediately rolls out of the ring and throws his hands up, laughing at a seething Kendrick. Because we got a good ol' boy in our corner...a big, bad man raised on the ranch and who knows what it's like to have some dirt on his hands." In walks ERIK WATTS, wearing sunglasses and a cowboy hat. "Shane Douglas, when you took this job as Troubleshooter, you opened the gates to hell. It started with Terry Funk, and it's not gonna stop until we get what we want. You wanna throw a few of your old cronies in the mix? Then the blood is on YOUR hands. The NWA World Tag Team Titles have gained in image.DON CALLIS and AJ STYLES are backstage. Both are irate, because how DARE Shane Douglas give Jerry Lynn the chance to get his hands on AJ tonight. Lynn isn't even in AJ's league, and now AJ has to team with CHRISTOPHER DANIELS, a guy he doesn't even trust completely, to take on Lynn and that punk BRYAN DANIELSON. "Lynn, you blew your shot, and Danielson? You might be the X Division champion, but I'm on top of the WORLD, boy. You're both second class citizens and I'm the MAN. You got your opportunity, then you best bring your A-game, because AJ Styles is ALWAYS phenomenal." All four men bring their A-game, as AJ put it earlier, showing why the four of them are considered top tier athletes. Danielson blocks a punch from Daniels and sends him flying back to his corner with a dropkick. Simultaneous tags bring Lynn and Styles in, and AJ gets hiptossed over, hit with a legdrop to the back of the head as he gets up, and PLANTED with a Cradle Piledriver! Jerry Lynn finally pins the World Heavyweight Champion, and Don Callis is red with anger, taking off his glasses and pointing at Lynn, shouting over and over that "it doesn't count!" as he pulls AJ to safety. ****1/2 MATCH QUALITY: 100% CROWD REACTION: 77% OVERALL RATING: 88%NO HOLDS BARRED: TERRY FUNK vs. JEFF JARRETT Funk immediately goes for plunder, hurling a plastic dinosaur of all things at Jarrett as he enters the ring! As Funk plants Jarrett with a DDT, Chris Harris runs down the aisle with a chair...but Funk sees him! Funk and Harris have a tug of war for the chair, but Jarrett recovers and nails Funk from behind, then sends him headfirst into the chair! A groggy Funk stumbles back, and Jarrett drops him headfirst into the mat with The Stroke! Jarrett gets the pin on Funk, and Harris enters the ring, looking to do further damage to the Hardcore Legend...BUT THE LIGHTS GO OUT! Then they come back on... IT'S RAVEN! The crowd goes nuts as Raven, arms outstretched, stands between Jarrett and Harris and the fallen Funk. Jarrett and Harris, unaware of Raven's motives, move towards him...AND BOTH GET NAILED! TNA on PPV The show opens this week with "earlier today" footage. MARK and JAY BRISCOE, with their "Coach" BILL ALFONSO are doing an autograph signing outside of the TNA Asylum. While greeting their fans, the brothers are attacked by TRENT ACID and JOHNNY KASHMERE! Fans freak out as the two teams start brawling outside of the arena, and security tries in vain to break it up. Trent tosses Mark aside, and he and Johnny lift Jay with up the T-Gimmick, and plant him through the autograph table! The BSB laugh at the damage they've caused, throwing their hands up in surrender when security gets control of the scene. OVERALL RATING: 70%ACE STEEL vs. PSYCHOSIS Steel won his last battle with the veteran Kid Kash, and here tonight he goes up against the unstable Mexican superstar. It's all action as Steel manages to keep Psychosis grounded for most of the match, and finishes him off with the Twist of Kain. Another impressive showing for Steel, but one man who is not impressed is KID KASH, as he hits the ring and beats Steel down, getting vengeance on Steel for beating him last week. ***1/4 MATCH QUALITY: 91% CROWD REACTION: 55% OVERALL RATING: 73%
Psychosis lost overness from this match. Ace Steel gained overness from this match.BRIAN KENDRICK is backstage, looking rather frustrated. He left "Stamford" to go somewhere that his talents would be put to use, but every time he thinks he can get on a roll, that idiot MICHAEL SHANE sticks his nose in. "Is it jealousy, Michael? Is it the fact that you think you're entitled to things you haven't earned? Or does it bother you that I was the prize pupil, and you were at the back of the line? One way or another, we're gonna settle this, and we're going to find out in that ring just which one of us is the best." OVERALL RATING: 68%
Brian Kendrick gained overness from this segment.NWA X DIVISION TITLE: BRYAN DANIELSON (c) vs. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS Daniels petitioned for this match, stating that it shouldn't be held against him that AJ Styles was the one pinned in the tag match last week. Whether it was Daniels' persistence or Shane Douglas' knowledge of the war between these two men, the match was granted...and what a match it was! Danielson has not disappointed since he arrived in NWA-TNA, and the fans are loving him more and more every week. Daniels was not happy with the reception the American Dragon received, but was happy to gain the victory tonight, as he knocked Danielson out to the apron and followed him out...then DDT'd him onto it! Danielson was out cold and fell to the floor, and the Fallen Angel started gloating even before the ref's count hit 10. Christopher Daniels has beaten the NWA X Division Champion, and he's going to remind EVERYBODY that he did! ****3/4

The NWA X Title has gained in image.RAVEN, the man who arrived on the scene to save TERRY FUNK last week, is sitting in his corner of the arena. For the past month, he's sat back while James Storm, Chris Harris, and Jeff Jarrett refused to acknowledge history, and spit on the accomplishments of Terry Funk. "Terry Funk is not my best friend, nor is he my worst enemy. Terry Funk is a survivor. Terry Funk is the personification of evolution. A man granted the gift to fight man after man, match after match, and live to tell the tale should be respected, and feared. I lived through wars with Terry Funk. I have scars that Terry Funk left on my body. I respect Terry Funk for surviving what I put him through. I respect his ability to adapt. What you men have created, is a marriage of convenience, and an alliance of the extreme. Because I know what it means to adapt...and I know what it means to fight. So I'll take Terry Funk as an ally, because it means that we can feed off of each other...and we can feast on you." OVERALL RATING: 94% Raven gained overness from this segment.TERRY FUNK vs. CHRIS HARRIS The tag team champions are in singles competition tonight, as the surly Texan takes on the young man known as the Wildcat. The ring can't contain the anger of Funk or the cowardice of Harris, as every time Funk gets the advantage he tries to high tail it. Finally, Funk has enough, and decides not to send him back into the ring. As they brawl around ringside, the ref tries to restore order...but gets shoved aside by Funk! Understanding the nature of the contest, the ref tries to get Harris to back off...and Harris shoves him! On the third try, BOTH men nail the ref with a punch, but continue their own brawl! The match gets thrown out on a double DQ, but Funk and Harris keep brawling, until TNA staff rush out from the back to pull them apart! *1/2
MATCH QUALITY: 67% CROWD REACTION: 78% OVERALL RATING: 74%AJ STYLES (NWA World Champion) vs. JERRY LYNN: NON-TITLE MATCH Lynn's team beat Styles' in a tag match last week, but DON CALLIS, Styles' advisor, petitioned that Shane Douglas make this match non-title, that way Lynn can prove himself "without the help of Bryan Danielson". All the action you'd expect and more, but ending on a bittersweet note, as the onslaught against Styles by Lynn fell to treachery. Lynn had him set up for the Cradle Piledriver, but Styles twisted around into a schoolboy rollup...and threw his feet up on the ropes! Callis held Styles' feet in place while the ref counted three, and despite his strongest efforts to kick out, Lynn couldn't! AJ Styles not only beat Jerry Lynn, but he humiliated him, and he instantly rolls out of the ring and grabs his title, raising it up high and telling Lynn once again "it's mine, it's always gonna be mine!". ****1/4 MATCH QUALITY: 94% CROWD REACTION: 83% OVERALL RATING: 88%The X Division Champion, BRYAN DANIELSON, is backstage icing his head after taking a brutal DDT on the apron from CHRISTOPHER DANIELS earlier tonight. As Danielson sits in his locker room, he notices someone pull the X Title off the bench...and he turns to get BLASTED across the head by his own title...and Daniels is the perpetrator! Danielson is out cold for the second time tonight, and the Fallen Angel stands over him, smirking...and walks off with the X Title! OVERALL RATING: 81% RAVEN vs. JAMES STORM The crowd goes nuts upon Raven's entrance, and Cowboy James Storm looks like he'd rather be anywhere than across the ring from the gothic extremist. Storm comes out with guns blazing (figuratively speaking), but every time he makes a move, Raven is able to counter. Storm gets groggy after being dropped with a piledriver, and a move that would beat most men is not used by Raven as his winning play. Instead, he drags Storm to his feet, holds him in a front facelock, and looks directly into the hard camera. He's certainly starting at Jeff Jarrett, Chris Harris, and Erik Watts for those brief seconds, before he brings James Storm headfirst into the canvas with a DDT. Raven gets the pin, and poses in his signature stance...arms out, head thrown back...and the fans rejoicing behind him. A man thought to be poison to the wrestling industry may just wind up being the NWA's saving grace. *1/2 MATCH QUALITY: 67% CROWD REACTION: 83% OVERALL RATING: 78%OVERALL RATING: 80% (best show yet!)We got a 0.20 buy rate for 'TNA on PPV'! Just wanted to stop by and say that I'm really enjoying this so far. The format is short and sweet and the actual storylines that you have going on are solid. In particular, I like that AJ is being established as the arrogant young World Champion that thinks he's God's gift to wrestling but actually has the ability to back his claims up. The AMW/Jarrett/Funk feud has been fun too and the addition of Raven can only mean good things.

Thanks, appreciate it! I'm glad the "bullet point" version of my storylines translate well. I honestly wish I had the time to write out the matches a bit more, but I flesh out what I can between them and the promos. Glad you're enjoying the storylines too. When I started the diary I "cheated" a bit and ditched AMW since their skills aren't too hot and I've never been a big fan, but with Jarrett being unsackable I had to figure out a decent way to use him. You can also tell I'm looking to elevate new characters into the upper mid/main fold, so all I can say is keep reading and I hope you keep enjoying!

I like the small changes so far. Suffice it to say, I prefer Danielson to Shark Boy. I'm an AMW fan, so it's nice to have them here this time around, and I also love the way you introduced Raven as opposed to just having him start out on the roster.
Waiting patiently for James Mitchell to show up and take in Psychosis and Kash!

TNA on PPV: March 17th, 200 4TONIGHT:Brian Kendrick goes one on one with his former friend Michael Shane!
The Briscoe Brothers, who were attacked at an autograph signing last week by the Backseat Boyz, look for revenge in a TABLES MATCH!
TNA Troubleshooter Shane Douglas has given Raven, Terry Funk, and America's Most Wanted the night off...but promises a special surprise for Jeff Jarrett!
Christopher Daniels, who last week stole the X Division Title from Bryan Danielson, refuses to give it back, and has brought Low Ki with him to take the American Dragon out once and for all! However, Daniels himself will have his hands full, as he has to tangle with a focused Jerry Lynn, who is hot on the heels of World Champion AJ Styles!
Chaos greets us on this week's PPV, as the cameras are filming chaos in the locker room. Sounds of pain and agony fill the air as the scene shows RAVEN and TERRY FUNK brawling with CHRIS HARRIS and JAMES STORM! The four men were purposely not booked for action tonight, but it looks like it doesn't need to be legal for them to carry on their war! Various staff members try to break up the brawl, but there is no end in sight, as we fade away and head to the ring for our opening bout. OVERALL RATING: 72% BRIAN KENDRICK vs. MICHAEL SHANE This feud started when Kendrick arrived from his WWE tenure as "Spanky", and decided to go by his real name and prove that he's "no joke". Shane, the cousin of Shawn Michaels, hates the fact that he had to "work" to make a name for himself and that Kendrick's drive and passion was recognized moreso than his. Oddly enough, Kendrick winds up hitting a superkick on Shane that knocks him silly...but as he goes for the pin TRACY BROOKS appears on the apron, trying to get the ref's attention. Kendrick turns to see what the commotion is, and that one second of distraction is all it takes, as he turns around and gets blasted by a superkick from Shane, who then follows up with his Picture Perfect Elbow for the three count. Tracy applauds at ringside, and Shane goes over and holds the ropes for her to get in the ring. The couple then embrace and make out, much to the disgust of the Asylum crowd. **3/4 MATCH QUALITY: 81% CROWD REACTION: 69% OVERALL RATING: 75%TABLES MATCH: BRISCOE BROTHERS (w/ COACH BILL ALFONSO) vs. BACKSEAT BOYZ The tables stipulation stems from the attack last week, where the BSB attack Mark and Jay during an autograph signing, and put Jay Briscoe through the table with the T-Gimmick. This contest combines the usual high energy offense of both teams mixed in with some dangerous brawling, and both teams encounter some close calls with the tables. Finally, it's Mark who falls prey to the BSB this week, as Kashmere hits a top rope moonsault down to the floor, sending both Mark and himself crashing through the table. The BSB get the win, but all four are visibly hurting after this one is over. ****1/2

Daniels pats the belt, asking the world if they agree that the belt looks better with him than with that "wannabe nomad" Bryan Danielson. "You claim to travel the world to prove that you're the best...that your skills can match up to anyone. I say you travel the world because you're a coward, Bryan Danielson. You don't put down any roots because you're afraid someone will show the world what you really are...a POSER...and then you take off. Well, I've taken off that mask, Danielson. I've shown the world that your talent is nothing compared to mine. I took you out last week not once, but TWICE, and I have the title here to prove it? You want it back? Come and get it. If Low Ki doesn't kill you first, that is." OVERALL RATING: 78%NON-TITLE: BRYAN DANIELSON vs. LOW KI Danielson is the NWA X Division Champion, but Christopher Daniels has refused Shane Douglas' attempts at getting the belt back. Tonight he sends his Triple X cohort Low Ki to do his dirty work, but Danielson is as focused as ever. A bit scraggly as though he's letting his beard grow in, Danielson seems rough around the edges, as he tears into Low Ki with kicks and strikes that rival Ki's. A springboard dropkick to the back of the head sends Ki down, and moments later Danielson takes him in a double chicken wing and turns it into Cattle Mutilation. Daniels, at ringside, shouts "don't you tap", but he does. Bryan Danielson beats Low Ki. ****1/2

Douglas also tells Daniels to hand over the X Division Title to the champ, because if he doesn't, he won't get his shot! Daniels holds the belt to his chest, telling Douglas "no" and looking like he's about to cry...but Danielson hits a baseball slide to send Daniels flying, and picks the belt up off the floor. Danielson vs. Daniels, next week! However, Douglas tells Daniels to stay put (as he lay writhing on the floor), because his match against Jerry Lynn is...NOW! OVERALL RATING: 78%JERRY LYNN vs. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS Daniels channels his frustration out on Lynn, who himself is frustrated due to AJ Styles cheating to beat him last week. Daniels works Lynn over, perhaps a sign of things to come for Bryan Danielson next week...but even with the match at hand, AJ STYLES finds the need to come rushing in! As the referee is momentarily blinded from an errant Daniels elbow, Styles comes rushing in...but Lynn ducks his lariat, and Daniels turns around and gets blasted by it! Lynn then tosses AJ out of the ring and hits his Cradle Piledriver, and the bad night for Daniels continues, as Lynn gets the win! Styles gets back into the ring afterward and goes to help Daniels up...but Daniels shoves AJ away...then drills him with an STO! My daddy started this company, and if he hadn't, you wouldn't be cashin' a check!" "Let me tell YOU something, Jarrett. Your daddy may have started this company, but right now I'm the guy running it! As far as your opponent? All I'm going to say is that it's a guy who's had a gripe with you before, and he's got one with you now. There. Now it's not mystery. Don't you feel better? I do."
