In excellent news, my move is almost completed (should be done this weekend) and in my spare time I've continued to go through the game to get to the point I want to be at. Expect an update, a synopsis as to where TNA stands and what's happened in the meantime, in the next few days. I think you'll all enjoy it quite a bit.
A few teasers:
TNA is now GLOBAL I've raided several talents from WWE The attacker of Shane Douglas and Jerry Lynn has been revealed Not one, but TWO five star matches

The boxes are unpacked (well, most of 'em), the house is in a semblance of order, and my move is complete. Which means I can get this game back on track. Now, as I mentioned, I wanted to "skip ahead" a bit just because I was unsatisfied with some of the happenings in it. I was met with quite a few challenges along the way, but I think you'll be happy with the results. I'm going to give a brief synopsis of the happenings in my game to get you all up to speed, and then post the current stats/champs/etc. NWA-TNA: A Six Month Synopsis NOBODY'S FOOLThe biggest story of the past six months was one that nobody could have seen coming. When Brian Kendrick first arrived in TNA, he was fresh off the plane from Stamford, CT, where a certain other company decided that he was best utilized as comic relief in the land of giants, never given a chance to prove himself. Tired that his only exposure to the wrestling world was as a clown show, Kendrick vowed his first night in TNA that he was going to make people take him seriously. He competed against all comers and had excellent showings against the likes of AJ Styles, Jason Jett, and former Texas Wrestling Academy classmate Michael Shane. However, a much darker meaning to Kendrick's statement began to take shape. For months, superstars, officials, and fans all wondered one thing: Who attacked World Champion Jerry Lynn and NWA-TNA Troubleshooter Shane Douglas. On an episode of TNA IMPACT! in July, Jerry Lynn was taking on rival AJ Styles, the man he beat for the World Title, when Ace Steel hit the ring. To the shock of everyone, Steel turned on Lynn, a man he had recently teamed with and a man that considered him a friend, and took the mic, revealing HE was the one who attacked Jerry Lynn. This led to Lynn wanting Steel in a match, which was signed, sealed, and delivered for Destination X. Lynn defeated Steel, but Steel, spent from the match, rolled out of the ring and laughed into the mic, stating that Lynn proved the point that Steel was trying to make...and that Steel wasn't the man behind the attacks after all. Confused by Steel's backing down, both Lynn and Douglas confronted Steel, who said that both men need to realize the bigger picture, and that it would soon be clear to them. At Victory Road, Kendrick captured the X Division Title in a tournament final against AJ Styles, while the World Title was on the line when Lynn took on Steel. In that match, Lynn was about to hit his Cradle Piledriver on Steel, when Kendrick, having only been X Division Champion for a few hours, ran into the ring and busted Lynn open with a beltshot. Kendrick stood over Lynn and raised his title up high, and Victory Road went off the air with the crowd reacting in a mix of shock and disgust. The next show, Kendrick came out, accompanied by Steel. Taking the mic, Kendrick explained that he and Steel devised a plan that would show the world what was wrong with TNA. Kendrick stated that Steel was a man who traveled the roads, slept in his car, fought for pennies, and despite his obvious talent and ability, he was constantly passed over. Kendrick then talked about himself, taking about how his only mission was to prove himself, but that TNA, who opened the door for him to come in the company, constantly overlooked him and never lived up to their promises. "This is a company that rewards you for your misdeeds. You've got Dan Maff, a guy who came from God knows where, not under any form of contract with the organization, running in from the crowd and attacking contracted personnel, but instead of being arrested or sued, he's GIVEN a contract from Shane Douglas. Literally, it was handed to him without any debate! Speaking of Shane Douglas, this is the same guy who, ten years ago, THREW DOWN the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The belt that we all bleed for is a belt that he SPIT on, and now HE'S the man in charge? As for you, Jerry Lynn, why did I attack you? It's simple. As the World Champion, you're supposed to lead by example. You're a guy who went through what I went through. They dressed you up like a Power Ranger and had you slapping kids hands, not competing for World Titles, but you threw that mask in the trash and you carved a name for yourself in this business by taking on the best. Now here you are, the World Heavyweight Champion, but are you giving people the same opportunities you got? NO, you're not! You're sitting pretty with your belt, and instead of seeking challenges, instead of seeking people like Brian Kendrick who can push you to your limit, you stay in your comfort zone. You stick to what you know. Well how does it feel, Jerry? How does it feel to know that everything you thought you knew was a mirage? Because if people are being rewarded for their misdeeds in TNA, then that means it's only a matter of time before you and I cross paths, and when we do, I will take that World Title and I won't hide. I won't stick to a comfort zone. I will prove to the world that Brian Kendrick is no joke, and I will do that as the World Heavyweight Champion."From that point on, the two jaded superstars targeted Lynn several times, until Lynn was rescued by AJ Styles, his longtime rival. AJ, pissed that Kendrick would walk in from "up north" and have a sense of entitlement without earning his way, agreed to back Lynn up. The odds were even, and the teams were set to meet at the September PPV, BLOODY SUNDAY. In an excellent match, neither team would given an inch, but the appearance of CHRIS HERO, interfering on behalf of Kendrick and Steel, was the difference maker. Hero, stern and stoic, was introduced on the next IMPACT! by Kendrick as another man not given a fair shake by TNA. "He's sat in your developmental system for six months, watching less talented people walk into this company, wrestle on its TV shows and pay per views and compete for its titles. He waited long enough for opportunity to knock, but at Bloody Sunday, he kicked the door in! Chris Hero has finally arrived, and Chris Hero is part of the plan to make TNA a better place."With the arrival of Hero, the attacks continued. Michael Shane, the cocky cousin of WWE superstar Shawn Michaels, and one of Kendrick's detractors when he first entered the company, was taken out by Kendrick, Steel, and Hero, and had his "superkick" leg slammed repeatedly inside a car door. The damage was so severe that Shane is unlikely to ever fully recover, and he was released from his in-ring performance contract. Shane's girlfriend, Tracy Brooks, left in support of her man. Another attack took place, that one on X Division Champion CM Punk. While it happened before Hero's arrival, it was revealed that Hero was the one who jumped Punk and forced him to forfeit the X Division Title. After being found in the locker room with his knee severely damaged, Punk, who had yet to be beaten in TNA, had to forfeit the X Division Title. Hero spoke up and revealed that he was the one that did it, because he and Punk came up together and vowed to always stick together, but the minute TNA signed him to the main roster, Punk forgot about their promise and treated him like a second class citizen. With Steel and Hero supporting him, Kendrick's reign of terror continued, as he approached Jason Jett, the former Glory Boys partner of Michael Shane. Jett, swearing revenge for his partner, was instead talked out of it by Kendrick. Claiming that Shane was a bigmouth who caused Jett more harm than help, Kendrick told Jett that he could support "the cause" and stand by him instead of try to take him out. While his decision was not a quick one, Jett eventually succumbed to Kendrick's ploys, and joined up with him, Steel, and Hero. To combat the revolution that Kendrick was starting, Styles and Lynn got some help of their own. Styles' best friend, Jimmy Rave, debuted with TNA and gave a much needed helping hand, finding an instant rival in Hero. Still outnumbered four to three, it was the shocking appearance of LANCE STORM, an old friend of Lynn's, who arrived in TNA and said that if Kendrick and company were going to turn TNA into their playground, they were "Seriously Mistaken". Another blow to the fan favorites took place when Styles' advisor Don Callis, also a longtime friend of Lynn and Storm, turned on his charge and loaned his services to Kendrick's crew. Feeling unappreciated by Styles, Callis vowed to give all the knowledge he had on Styles, Lynn, and Storm to Kendrick and co. The feud hit a boiling point at the December PPV, ENDGAME, where Kendrick, Steel, Hero and Jett took on Lynn, AJ, Rave and Lance Storm in an Endgame (War Games) match. Kendrick, who the previous month lost his X Title in an awesome ladder match with AJ, forced the World Champion to quit, earning himself a title shot at the first event of 2005, Genesis. At Genesis, Kendrick's crew competed for all of the TNA Titles. Hero captured the X Title from Styles, while Steel and Jett fought to a time limit draw with NWA World Tag Team Champions The Briscoe Brothers. In the end, it was Kendrick's night, as he cheated to beat Lynn for the World Heavyweight Title. On IMPACT! after the pay per view, the foursome opened the show, with Kendrick and Hero holding up their newly one titles. "They say that those with the prestige are the ones that hold the power. What you are looking at are men worthy of being YOUR champions. For the past few months you people have looked at what we're doing as a hostile takeover, but you have it all wrong. It's not a takeover, it's a makeover. We are making TNA into what it SHOULD be, instead of looking at what it could be. I have dreamed of being a World Champion since I was a child, and I will not let TNA, Jerry Lynn, or any of YOU ruin the moment for me. I am surrounded by men who support my mission. I am surrounded by men born to be champions. We will represent TNA as its champions, as role models, so that others can see the change we incorporate and follow in our footsteps. There is no need for resistance, but if there is, it will be met with excessive force, because we will not let ANYONE stand in our way. Those with the prestige hold the power. Ladies and gentlemen...we ARE The Prestige." With that, the revolution had a name. The Prestige. World Champion Brian Kendrick, X Division Champion Chris Hero, Ace Steel, and Jason Jett. Four men, willing to exploit any opportunity, ready to take the most extreme measures to cement their status as major players in wrestling history. So far, even the combined forces of some of the most talented wrestlers in the world haven't been able to take them down. For now, the power lies with The Prestige.

Continuing with the synopsis: DOUBLE TROUBLE: THE TNA TAG SCENE
The feel-good story of the year coming out of TNA has to be the rise to fame of Jay and Mark, the Briscoe Brothers. These two young men, who turned down football scholarships to Georgetown in order to continue their wrestling careers, debuted in TNA one year ago as the recruits of "Coach" Bill Alfonso. After claiming their first NWA World Tag Team Championship by defeating the duo of Raven and Terry Funk, the Briscoes quickly found themselves the targets of disgruntled TNA "Originals" James Storm and Chris Harris, America's Most Wanted. AMW ended the reign of the Briscoes after just one month, but two weeks later on IMPACT! The Briscoes found themselves champions once again, defeating the roughneck duo in impressive fashion. Since then, the Briscoes have maintained a stronghold on the belts, taking on all comers including AMW, James Mitchell's "Devil's Duo" of Kash and Psychosis, and former rivals the Backseat Boyz. Speaking of the Backseat Boyz, they are responsible for not one, but TWO MOTY candidates in 2004, as their babyface turn and war with the Devil's Duo led to an all time classic, five star ladder match at Destination X. Winning that match cemented their number one contender status, and the BSB did battle with former rivals The Briscoe Brothers on an episode of IMPACT!, leading to the highest rated segment in IMPACT! history, another five star match that saw the champions win by the skin of their teeth. Originally coming into TNA as cocky ne'er do wells, the BSB have found their way into the hearts of the fans, and continue to impress. Besides the "Core Four" teams, other teams have made their way into TNA in the past year, as well as new allegiances. The popular Shark Boy and the luchadore Shocker combined their efforts to create Shock Attack, while the Glory Boys duo of Jason Jett and Michael Shane did well for themselves until Shane's injury at the hands of The Prestige. More recently, new teams have joined the fray, such as Konnan's charges The Havana Pitbulls, the Knights of Prosperity (Lance Cade and Aaron Stevens), the Sons of Liberty (Chance Beckett and Joey Ryan), the War Wolves (Strongko and Drago), and the popular Machine Gun Generation (Austin Aries and Alex Shelley). Along with the makeshift teams and alliances forged along the way, the tag team scene in TNA is considered the best in the world today.

IT'S TIME, IT'S TIME, IT'S...RAVEN'S TIME? When Vader attacked wrestling legend Terry Funk during Funk's retirement ceremony, he was sending a message that no one was safe from his wrath. Little did he know what was in store when Raven, who forged a mutual respect and alliance with Funk in 2004, going so far as to win the NWA World Tag Team Titles. Raven swore revenge on behalf of Funk, and embroiled in an all out war with Vader that spanned several months. Vader never let up, attacking Raven multiple times, once even powerbombing him into a wall backstage and sending Raven to the hospital. Raven, embracing the pain and agony, channeled it the only way he knew how...right back at Vader. At Bloody Sunday, the two engaged in a match that spilled out to ringside, through the crowd, backstage...everywhere. It was the arrival of Terry Funk as Vader went to drop Raven with a second powerbomb that saved the day, and Funk beat Vader down with multiple chairshots, finally toppling the big man with one to the head. The following month at Bound For Glory, Raven finally defeated the brutal big man inside one of the most brutal matches in TNA history...a Hell In The Cell bout that left both men bloody. It was a war that changed both men forever, and that's something that the rest of TNA needs to watch out for.

UPRISING Perhaps TNA's proudest achievement has to be its Impact territory, where they groom future stars for their roster. While it's well known that Chris Hero felt he was "forced" to be there, other stars are grateful for their chance to hone their skills. Stars like Sheamus, Lance Cade, Aaron Stevens, Antonio Banks, his girlfriend Jade, Jay Lethal, Nigel McGuinness, Johnny Jeter, Carlito Colon, Alex Shelly and Austin Aries have all done their time there, and are quickly becoming integral parts of the main roster. Many times tension from Impact drifts over to the main roster, such as the feud between the Irish strongman Sheamus and the cocky Banks, who considers himself the "MVP of TNA". Current stars in the territory that fans can watch out for in the future include Bison Smith, Onyx, and Sonjay Dutt.

And now, a quick bullet-point synopsis of the month of March, 2005, to get you guys prepared for the return to normal updates:
Colt Cabana debuted on IMPACT!, immediately targeting The Prestige, and in particular Chris Hero. Cabana spoke out against Hero's actions, turning his back on CM Punk, injuring him, and now claiming to be the greatest X Division Champion TNA has ever seen. Hero, claiming that Punk gave up the title because "he couldn't suck it up", offered to shut Cabana up as well, and defeated him after blasting him with a chairshot. Hero was set to do damage to Cabana, but the lights went out in the arena, and the all too familiar sound of AFI was heard for the first time in months. CM PUNK had returned, and Cabana's challenge was the bait that Hero took. Stating that after all their years on the road Hero had "sold him out", Punk had someone he could rely on in his corner...his "brother", Colt Cabana. Also talking of Ace Steel's change in attitude, not to mention Jason Jett and Brian Kendrick, Punk made it clear to The Prestige as a whole...
"I don't care how you dress now. I don't care how you talk now. I don't even care if we were once friends. What matters to CM Punk is that I lost almost a year...a YEAR...of my career because of petty jealousy. You guys came at me simply because I'm everything you want to be. You came at me because I skipped past all the bullshit, all the games, and I became the X Division Champion. I took EVERYONE on, face to face, nose to nose, and it didn't matter to me if I came out bleeding, aching, or crying, I took that belt home every night and I carried it into every arena in this country proudly. I never LOST that belt, Hero. So let me make it short and sweet. You backstabbed me? I'm going to hurt you. You took my knee out, and took time out of my career? I'm going to hurt you. You walk around with a title that belongs to me, claiming to be the best X Division Champion TNA has ever seen? I'm going to hurt you, and I'm going to humiliate you. I'm going to break your body, your will, and your spirit. You know this, Hero...you've known me for years, and you know the type of guy I am. I hold a grudge...oh boy do I hold a grudge...and after I get my belt back and send you out of TNA in a pine box, I'm gunning for those other three stooges you're hiding behind. CM Punk is BACK, and I'm bringing hell with me!"
Randy Orton continued his war with Raven, claiming that he is TNA's "golden boy" and can make them into the hottest thing going today, but that first he needed to do a little housecleaning. Raven was able to shut Orton up, something that Jeff Jarrett, who has taken offense to some of Orton's actions as well, greatly enjoyed. Orton, however, reminded Jarrett that he came "that close" to beating Raven, where as Jarrett will always be remembered as Raven's bitch. Add in the fact that Mickie James continues to be smitten with Orton despite being on Jarrett's arm, and this is one highly volatile situation that could explode at anytime!
The Prestige gained control of all of TNA's titles when Ace Steel and Jason Jett defeated The Briscoe Brothers for the gold. The brothers, swearing revenge, went after The Prestige head on, with Mark taking on World Champion Brian Kendrick on an episode of Adrenaline in an amazing, five star match that saw the youngster come within milliseconds of winning the World Title. Kendrick retained, but the challenge was set for the following week, where the brothers competed against Kendrick and Hero in another five star match which many are talking about as the MOTY already. With efforts like that, is it just a matter of time before Jay and Mark wear the gold proudly once again, or will The Prestige take extreme measures, as they've done in the past with CM Punk, Jerry Lynn, and Shane Douglas?
After their war with The Prestige, best friends AJ Styles and Jimmy Rave decided to continue to combine their efforts and set the goal of winning the NWA World Tag Team Titles. Father James Mitchell and his Devil's Duo immediately set their sights on the new team, stating that 2005 would be "the year Hell reigned supreme". The teams have already engaged in several tag wars, as well as faced off in singles encounters, and neither team shows any signs of backing down. With the demented Mitchell by their side, will Kash and Psychosis make their way towards tag team gold by eliminating the popular youngsters, or will AJ and Rave's friendship lead them to glory?
Starting off the year by claiming the NWA World Title and surrounding himself with his allies in The Prestige, Brian Kendrick is a happy man despite being the most hated person on the roster. After successful defenses against former champion Jerry Lynn, Canadian Superstar Lance Storm, and both Jay and Mark Briscoe, Kendrick started getting a little too cocky on the mic. Enter Rey Mysterio. Mysterio, the international sensation, who came out to challenge Kendrick. Mysterio stated that he's "been where Kendrick's been", to which the cocky champion responded "no you haven't, because you've never been World Champion." Claiming that Rey wears a mask to hide from his failures while Kendrick is "the face of wrestling", the face off culminated in Kendrick laying Rey out with a beltshot, then taking Mysterio's mask off and ripping it up! Mysterio, who covered his face with his t-shirt, has sworn revenge on Kendrick for disrespecting not only him, but the history and tradition of the mask and lucha libre. Could this be the chance that Mysterio has waited for for years, or will Kendrick, with The Prestige behind him, put another notch in his championship belt?

TNA ADRENALINE April 1, 2005 Live from the Centrum in Worcester, MA Coming off the Ides of March, the power of The Prestige is still strong, as the foursome maintain a stranglehold on all the NWA titles. On IMPACT!, it was announced that the upcoming pay per view, Lockdown, would feature not just one, but multiple steel cage matches. With the roster intrigued by decision, it became even more controversial when it was announced that the three cage matches at Lockdown would be the title matches! The Prestige were none too happy about that decision, done in part to make sure that every fight is a fair one. X Division Champion Chris Hero will take on former friend and former X Division Champion CM Punk, Ace Steel and Jason Jett will defend the NWA World Tag Team Titles against the men they took the belts from, Jay and Mark Briscoe. Last but not least, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Prestige founder The Brian Kendrick will take on the one and only Rey Mysterio. After insulting Mysterio and insulting the legacy of lucha libre when he tore up Rey's mask, has the cocky Kendrick gone too far, or will Mysterio gain a measure of revenge inside the steel cage at Lockdown?Mike Tenay and Konnan welcome us to this edition of TNA Adrenaline, coming to you live from Worcester, MA. With the intros out of the way, the hosts discuss the upcoming Lockdown PPV and the repercussions that The Prestige can and will feel for their recent actions at that show. Konnan, as expected, is outraged at the treatment of the NWA's champions, but all that is put aside as we head to the ring for our first contest. MACHINE GUN GENERATION (Austin Aries and Alex Shelley, w/ Simply Luscious) vs. KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY (Aaron Stevens and Lance Cade) The war between TNA's two newest duos continues, as the popular Aries and Shelley, with their matching red and black tights and black leather vests, are the perfect foils for the snide Stevens and cocky Cade. Shelley and Stevens start off, and the MGG use quick tags to keep him off his game, but Cade comes in and, being the biggest of the four, uses brute force to work over both Shelley and Aries. At one point, Cade presses Shelley up, but Shelley rakes his eyes and falls behind him, hitting an enzugiri that sends Cade stumbling into an STO from Aries. The crowd loves the double teams, but the MGG go to the well once too many times, as Cade gets his knees up on an Aries 450 Splash, then tags in Stevens, hitting a high/low combination clothesline and knee clip on him, leaving him down for the pin. **1/2 MQ: 84 CR: 53 OVERALL 68Backstage, TNA Troubleshooter Shane Douglas is speaking with several members of the roster when up walks RANDY ORTON. "Hey Shane! What's this about Lockdown, huh? You've got all the titles up for grabs and you didn't even think of putting me into one of those spots?" "Last time I checked, kid, Raven had you flat on your back, so as far as I'm concerned you don't DESERVE a title shot!" Orton chuckles. "Deserve? Shane, I'm the youngest World Champion in wrestling history. I have a pedigree. A legacy. I have God given gifts. I can be the face of this company. The face of TNA. I can be...The Franchise." Douglas stops dead in his tracks, and scowls. "You better watch what you say next, Randy." "Face it, Shane. You're a desk jockey now, and instead of carrying your grudges out in the ring, you do it with pen and paper. Truth is, I think you look at me and KNOW what I'm capable of, and it scares you. And that's why you're not giving me the chances, Shane. Because you know that whatever I do, I can do it better than you ever could. You gave the World Title shot to some cartoon character, you've given the tag title shot to two kids that can't hold onto the belts for more than a hot minute, and you gave the X Title shot to a tattooed gimp. THOSE are the people you want representing your company? Those are the guys that are going to be your saving grace? Shane, face it, you're screwing up big time. Whether you like it or not, you're yesterday's news. Randy Orton...well, he's the new Franchise around here." With a smirk, Orton walks off, leaving Douglas steaming. OVERALL: 78.JOHNNY JETER vs. NIGEL MCGUINNESS A match between two up and comers who are having problems with others, the "Thrillseeker" Jeter and British badass meet for the first time here tonight on Adrenaline. Jeter, who has been having issues with Carlito Colon as of late, is on fire, countering Nigel's chain wrestling with quick moves and aerial mastery. Nigel is stunned, and when Jeter goes for his top rope flying spin kick, he realizes his leg is being held by none other than Carlito! Jeter manages to kick Carlito off, but Colon pops up and yanks Jeter's leg out from under him, crotching him on the top rope! One Tower of London later, and that's all she wrote for Jeter, as Carlito backs up the ramp, laughing at his rival's misfortune. ***1/2 MQ: 92 CR: 63 OVERALL 77.Carlito is enjoying himself, but as he's heading to the back, he's stopped by the sound of Jeter's voice, booming through the mic. "CARLITO! You want to keep playing these games with me? You think you're better than me? Then I want you to prove it. Prove it to me, prove it to these people, prove it to YOURSELF. Next week, here on Adrenaline, one on one...Carlito Colon and the "Thrillseeker", Johnny Jeter!" Carlito smirks and shrugs, seemingly accepting the challenge. Jeter, worn out from his match, drops the mic and points at Carlito, muttering unmentionables to his rival as we head to break. OVERALL: 81. Johnny Jeter gains overness from this segment. When we return, the lights in the arena are dim, and the music of the one and only NWA World Heavyweight Champion, "The" Brian Kendrick, is cued up. Walking cockily to the ring, Kendrick stops a few times on the ramp, lowering his sunglasses to peer at the fans booing him. Unimpressed with those in the crowd, Kendrick gets in the ring, and takes the mic as the lights come up. "Ladies and gentlemen, right now, I would like a few moments of your time. I would also like a few moments to talk to someone. Someone I owe an apology to. So, REY MYSTERIO, please come out here and talk to me, man to man." Tenay and Konnan are perplexed at this change in Kendrick's demeanor, as he's called out his rival to mend fences! Rey's music hits, and the crowd goes nuts...until "Rey" comes out. It's nothing more than a midget in a Rey costume, and Kendrick keeps his serious demeanor as the announcers talk aloud about how insulting this is. The little person gets in the ring and stands with his hands on his hips, looking up at Kendrick. Kendrick gets down on his knees and pulls his glasses off, looking him in the eye. "Rey, I called you out here tonight to say I'm sorry, OK? I'm sorry that you've lived your life this way. I'm sorry that you're nothing more than a glorified cartoon character. I'm sorry that you think you're anything more than a second rate citizen. I'm sorry that you think you're going to win the World Title at Lockdown. Because TNA can try to rein me in. They can put me in cages, they can make me climb ladders, they can do whatever they want, but every time they think they've got me I come out ahead and prove that I am better than the best! So please, Rey, understand that it's not my fault. It's the NWA Board of Directors fault for putting you against me. It's their fault for making you just another statistic. Quite simply, Rey, it's going to be good for business...but it's going to bad for you." The crowd is heated, and Little Rey motions for the mic. "Would you like to say something?" asks Kendrick. Little Rey takes the mic, and talks. "No habla Ingles." Kendrick seems perplexed, but then acts as if a revelation has hit him. "Oh. OH! OK, OK, no problemo! I can explain it so that even you can understand." Kendrick stands up...and then BLASTS Little Rey with a kick to the face! He then picks him up and press slams him onto the top turnbuckle, and Little Rey flops around on the mat, holding his ribs. Kendrick stands there laughing, as the crowd boos...but then the REAL Rey Mysterio slides into the ring and goes after Kendrick! Rey tackles Brian and unloads on him, but Kendrick pushes him off. The champion goes after Rey, but Rey hits a drop toehold, and it sets Kendrick up for the 619...but Kendrick drops and rolls out of the ring before Rey can connect! Kendrick takes his belt and heads up the ramp, while Rey throws his sunglasses at him. Rey helps Little Rey, then takes the mic. "Brian Kendrick, last week, you went too far. You insulted my heritage, my familia, and these fans. You can talk the talk all you want, but at Lockdown, there's not going to be any escaping. No more hit and run. You want to take the NWA World Title to new heights? Then Rey Mysterio will prove he's the one that can fly the highest!" OVERALL: 76When we return to Adrenaline, Tenay and Konnan are talking about the Lockdown main event, with Konnan talking about Rey's pride and his abilities. Their discussion is interrupted by the arrival of the NWA World Tag Team Champions JASON JETT and ACE STEEL, two members of Brian Kendrick's group The Prestige, as they head to the ring for a title defense. ACE STEEL and JASON JETT (NWA World Tag Team Champions, w/ DON CALLIS) vs. THE BACKSEAT BOYZ (Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere) The popular BSB once again find themselves in a position to challenge for the NWA World Tag Titles, which have eluded them thus far in their TNA tenure. Acid and Kashmere put up a good fight against the champions, utilizing their trademark quick double team tactics to get both Steel and Jett in pinning predicaments, but it's Acid who takes the fall when Jett rolls under a Yakuza kick attempt, Steel snaps Acid's neck down on the top rope, and Jett scores with a quick rollup for the pin. Callis applauds his charges as they are handed their titles, while the BSB collect themselves at ringside, looking at the belts that have escaped their grasp once more. ***1/4. MQ: 85 CR: 82 OVERALL 83. The NWA World Tag Team Titles have lost image.Backstage, COACH BILL ALFONSO is pacing in front of JAY and MARK BRISCOE. "STEEL! JETT! Boys, you got it in your head that you're the best tag team going today. Well lemme tell you, you need to get your heads checked, because I'm standin' with the greatest team TNA has ever seen. Jay Briscoe! Mark Briscoe! Ain't nobody better than them, daddy. You guys wanna walk around with those belts and think you're somethin' big? My boys MADE those belts this past year! Lockdown, daddy, steel cage, blood, sweat and tears flyin' all around, my boys, The Briscoe Brothers...daddy, we're gonna be champions again. Prestige, we're comin'!" OVERALL: 72. Briscoe Brothers lost overness from this segment.CHRIS HERO (NWA-TNA X DIVISION CHAMPION, w/ DON CALLIS) vs. JERRY LYNN From one Prestige defense to another, as this time the undefeated Chris Hero takes on the former World Champion Jerry Lynn. Several times in the contest Hero retreats to the outside for advice from Callis, who knows Lynn all too well. It's a tense back and forth battle as Lynn schools the younger Hero. It's almost a double countout as Lynn sends Hero out to the floor, but when he follows up with a pescado, Hero catches it and drops Lynn across the top of the guardrail out of desperation, but both men make it back in. After missing his Roaring Elbow and getting hit with a German Suplex for a two count, Hero finds himself set up for the Cradle Piledriver, but he manages to scoop Lynn's legs out and catapult him into the corner. Lynn uses this to his advantage and lands feet first on the middle rope, but when he jumps back with a bodypress, Hero spins around and drills him IN MID-AIR with a Roaring Elbow! Hero collapses on Lynn and hooks the leg, and three seconds later is still undefeated, as he pins Lynn! **** MQ: 94 CR: 77 OVERALL: 85.We see CM PUNK watching backstage on a monitor, and as he turns his head, he sees the cameraman standing there, focused on him. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you expect me to have something to say about that? You know what, fine. Chris Hero, congratulations. (mock claps). You just beat one of the best. You just beat Jerry Lynn, the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Now, I don't mean that sarcastically at all. Jerry Lynn is one of the best this business has ever seen, and he paved the way for guys like you and me. But Jerry Lynn isn't CM Punk. Jerry Lynn isn't the guy that you've known for the past five years, that you came up in this business with. Jerry Lynn isn't the guy that you bled with in armories across the Midwest. Jerry Lynn isn't the guy you camped out in a car on the side of the road with. Jerry Lynn isn't the guy that you sold out, that you turned out, that you put on the shelf for almost a year. JERRY LYNN ISN'T THAT GUY. CM Punk is. CM PUNK...IS. What you did, Hero, goes beyond me wanting my title back. What you did, Hero, goes beyond any rivalry. What you did, quite frankly, is personal. It hit me at my core. It made me realize that if you could do that to me, that you are more dangerous than I ever gave you credit for. Does that mean I'm afraid of you? Does that mean I'm fearing entering the cage with you at Lockdown? Hell no. I'm EMBRACING the fact that the two of us are going to be locked in that cage, without any of your little cronies getting involved. Because now that I know how dangerous you are, I know that I need to step it up. I need to get to another level. When you unleashed the beast in yourself you unleashed the demonl inside me, and at Lockdown, you're going to feel its wrath. Chris, our friendship has already ended. Come Lockdown, your title reign, your undefeated streak...and your CAREER...will all have something in common with that." OVERALL: 94.AJ STYLES, JIMMY RAVE, and THE BRISCOE BROTHERS vs. AMERICA'S MOST WANTED and THE DEVIL'S DUO Eight man tag team action brings some more insanity to the show tonight, as the warring teams of AJ Styles/Jimmy Rave and The Devil's Duo each gain the support of former World Tag Team Champions. The Briscoes are looking for a tune up to prepare for their upcoming title rematch, and what better way to get it than against four of their former rivals, as their wars with both the DD and AMW are well known. In the ring and out of the ring it's tough to keep up on the action, and there's a pileup at ringside when AJ clotheslines Harris over the ropes, only to have Psychosis hit a somersault senton from the top on him, only for Rave to hit a tope on Psychosis! Storm hits a baseball slide on Rave and then goes to the floor to pick him up, but Mark Briscoe hits a somersault plancha, Kash hits a twisting dive over the ropes onto him...and Jay Briscoe caps it off by hitting a top rope moonsault to the floor onto everyone! Once things settle down it comes down to Rave vs. Kash in the ring, and when Kash goes for a suplex Rave hits knees to the top of his head, then reverses the momentum and brings Kash down on his head with a DDT! Psychosis tries to intervene, but when he jumps off the ropes Rave dropkicks him out of the air, and AJ hits a springboard forearm, diving OVER Rave to nail Psychosis and send him back out of the ring! Rave brings Kash up, and when Kash goes for a rana, Rave counters into a "Rave Clash", using his own variation of his best friends finishing move for the pin! AJ and Rave celebrate, thanking the Briscoes for teaming with them, while Mitchell points his cane and makes threats, stating that the Devil's Duo are far from finished with the "BFF's" of AJ and Rave. ***1/4 MQ: 78 CR: 81 OVERALL: 79.BRIAN KENDRICK (NWA World Heavyweight Champion, w/ DON CALLIS) vs. LANCE STORM Kendrick's insistence of "proving dominance" by defending the title tonight is fine with Storm, who, like Kendrick, left the WWE when he was getting the best opportunities. Storm's matwork keeps Kendrick grounded, while Callis shouts advice to Kendrick, showing that he's able to find the weak spots in Storm's arsenal. At one point Callis gets up on the apron, and Storm doesn't think twice about going to introduce his old friend to his fist, but Callis jumps down before contact is made. Storm manages to get his Canadian Maple Leaf (single leg crab) on the champion, but once again it's Callis who helps out by pushing the bottom rope inwards, making it easier for Kendrick to grab! Storm releases the hold, but when he turns to grab Kendrick, Kendrick kicks him low, doubling him over. Kendrick then hits his double knee facebreaker (codebreaker) that he's dubbed The Vindicator and gets the pin. The show ends with Kendrick on the top rope, holding his championship belt above his head, screaming "NO ONE IS BETTER THAN ME!" as it fades to black. ****3/4 MQ: 99 CR: 90 OVERALL: 94We got a 0.55 rating for 'Adrenaline'! The attendance level was 9645 people. We made $385800 from ticket sales.

From F4W/Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
Shark Boy, Shocker, and D'Lo Brown are all gone from NWA-TNA. The first two weren't doing much, put together as a JTTS tag team "Shock Attack", and were somewhat over with a cult following. There was a push last year to make Shark Boy into TNA's version of Rey Mysterio, marketing the mask to kids, etc. With Rey's signing late last year, any ideas for that were left on the table and Shark Boy got lost in the shuffle. There was a last minute push to turn Shark Boy heel and give Rey a masked rival (eventually building up to a mask vs. mask match), but it was overruled.
Shocker had gotten lazy in recent months, and while he's still very charismatic, it seemed like he was just going through the motions. It's expected he'll head back to Mexico, though there is talk of him and Shark Boy doing the Shock Attack gimmick for a few upcoming indy shows.
D'Lo is an interesting case, as this is the second time in a year he's left TNA. D'Lo was first brought in back in 2003 when WWE released him, after years of being a job guy for them. He got into shape and proved that he was more valuable than his WWE push would lead you to believe, and headlined a lot of the TNA weekly PPV's. Last year there was a contract dispute which led to the angle where Jarrett and AMW jumped him (leading to Dan Maff's debut as D'Lo's friend from the streets, who came to TNA to avenge him). D'Lo was eventually brought back, along with New Jack, to align with Maff when Maff wasn't getting over as much as they'd hoped. In recent months he's appeared sporadically, as Jarrett has lost power behind the scenes (due to a falling out with his father that we hope to have more on next week) and the focus is on a lot of the younger guys like Kendrick, CM Punk, Hero, Cabana, and Jeter. He asked if he was free to negotiate elsewhere, and TNA let him, which isn't necessarily the best move in a wrestling war, but with the younger talent supplemented by the jumps of Mysterio, Lance Storm, and Randy Orton, they figured he was expendable. New Jack and Maff are both still under contract, and last we heard is that they are still hoping to get Maff in a better position, but that New Jack may be lost in limbo with D'Lo gone, as the idea was for them to team full time as "The Original Gangstas", since D'Lo was the bodyguard for the Gangsta tag team in Smoky Mountain about ten years ago.

Just a heads up this has not fallen by the wayside. There was a death in my family recently that I've had to deal with, hence my absence. I should have a show or two posted this week.

I really enjoy when people push talent to the top that aren't top guys in reality (in your case, Kendrick). It gives a unique quality about the diary that kicks it up a notch. Hoping you're able to start posting again soon.

I sorta have something to point out... Chance Beckett is Canadian. Why the Hell is he in a Pro-USA team?

There's a reason for it, trust me. Of course, that's if Beckett makes the cut. I've been purging the roster a little because I overhired, plus I have an idea for a pretty big storyline that is going to require some new hires. I actually just lost 2 of my major stars because they were being shitheads morale-wise and effort-wise, but I released them instead of outright fired them, hoping I can get them back. We'll see.
